lol I so hear ya, sunshinemiss . . . . . . & I omit a lot of other 'necessary' feminine potions & unguents, too . .. . Primarily out of serious tightwad objections, but those tend to overlap nicely with my environmental concerns . . . . . I'm kinda notorious for thinking that dish soap is a household every-cleaner, lol . . . . Think, um, bachelor. Yep, I'm more than a little bit bachelor . . . . & I want to be careful to specify that women (or guys, I'm inclusive) who choose to shave their legs, or whatever femme-grooming thing, have every right. If all that futzin' around brings a woman joy & satisfaction, more power to her . . . . . Make-up, pedicures, hair salons, if those are priorities for taking care of self, go to it . . . . . I'm mostly stickin' to referencing my own peculiarities in this thread, to offer contrast . . . .. . Weirdly enough, I have become fond of shavin' my hoo-ha in recent years ( to LadyHib for that euphemism, whoo-ha!) & I didn't used to like that activity . .. . . . I do that shave several times a year without a partner, more with . . . . . & I'm seriously reluctant to expose my head hair to soap anymore. It gets rinsed regularly, scalp massage, but soap is evil. Dries my hair into a fuzzy frizzy straw heap . . . . Occasionally I use conditioner on it, & I have Murray's Beeswax goo that I put on it regularly, but that's cuz I'm nursing major vanity-hair these days. Bleached & dyed & trying to grow it out long again -- which can be a contradiction in terms. (&, yes, I really need to post some pics of le mohawke rouge . . . .. . . ) & we could do a whole other thread on hair-care, lol . .. . . Okay, I cop to being, like, half bachelor-guy-ish & half grrrly girlish . . . . . *surrenders*
