I have been on this site for years; before this ID I had another one. I was here way before there were ads here. It was a time when there were mostly kinky people here looking to meet - or at least masturbate ha ha. There were a few pro-dommes, as there always have been. However, now, about 20+% of the profiles on here are from someone trying to exploit this free site for their own financial gain.

It seems that if one can do it, then anyone can extort money from someone willing to give it. Now we have [what appear to be] little 18-year-old "dommes" that want you to get on your webcam and pay. As well as many others that [aside from pro-dommes that have invested in expensive equipment] offer nothing, and want a free handout. I see it as nothing short of pathetic, and it is not in theme with what this site was for years. Is anyone else annoyed with these "pests"?

Option 1.) Make a separate category for beggars - "dominants", "subs", "switches", etc, and also "commercial profile". Put a star by their profile so we do not waste time opening it. Anyone not designating their own profile as commercial can be reported and deleted.
Option 2.) Make the beggers pay $xx.xx per month to ask for handouts here. Why should CollarMe and its ads support the "wannabe" freeloaders?

My suggestion is that one read around this place, make use of the 'Search' function before posting threads, that kinda thing . . .. . If one's goal is to make credible contributions to the conversational pool . . .. .

It's true that there can be a lot of 'dreck' to wade thru, & it is byzantine madness to figure out what a thread is about from titles alone, & even the OP's are sometimes opaque as to how the thread shapes out . .. . ..

If you wanna be taken 'seriously' hanging out on these message boards, my suggestion is slow to post, fast to read. Read hugely, post sparingly, especially in the beginning . . . . . Within a few weeks, months, whatever, you should start to get a feel for things . . . . .

& keep it light, fun, playful, even when others take offense. Which humans, some of, invariably do . . . . . The 'sugar' of humor can make a lot of 'medicine' way more palatable . . . . . .

Oh, & numero uno, these boards are probably most useful as a primarily educational tool for learning about the multitude of ways that BDSM-identified people are & do. Dating, networking, arguing, flirting, all that other stuff is probably ancillary . . . . . .

You know, as long as there are guys begging 18 year olds to get naked on cam, I see no reason why the girls should do it for nothing. Doesn't float your boat, ignore them and move on.

Better yet if you didn't focus on the 18 y. o. blonde barbies, you might actually see profiles of real women. But when that's what you go after, expect this result.

Simple. If they are in violation, members can "flag" them like in Craig's List. 20 or 30 flags (or even 50 flags if you want to avoid abuse of flagging) puts it out of here. It could also be flagged and reviewed by CM. However, CM seems to condone begging so far.

There are 1000s of profiles. It is impossible to see all of them. Many are real and want we seek. However. for every beggar, that is one real profile we will not have time to review.

Like it or not, they have just as much right to be here as you do. Not to mention, it's your search. Why should the site or anyone else for that matter, be concerned about how much time you have to click on profiles?

As LadyH said, I have no idea how you missed the ridiculous number of threads that others have already posted regarding this particular topic. Do a quick search on the word professional, tribute, or money Domme and you'll find more on the subject than almost any other topic.

If someone wants to believe an 18 year old can Domme them, then who are we to say no? I find it no different than the married 50 year old man tied to his job, wife and kids who looks for that fantasy girl.

I dont pay... it doesnt take away from what i come here for... and, as i see it, its one less guy the rest of us have hounding us for cams, pics, ect.

Okay, here's the deal. They get flagged and kicked. They open up a new one immediately and start all over. Block the IP address and they will just acquire a new IP address (which isn't hard to do) and start over again. They can do this as long as they want to play that game. All the hours taken to police that sort of thing becomes time that people want to be paid for and suddenly collarme isn't free to anyone anymore. Block and move on. Sheesh.

Oh, and let's clarify. Who do you see as begging for money? These people have an ad in very appropriate spot for drumming up the kind of business they are running. They often are footing quite a bill themselves to be open and honestly, no one can turn down free advertising. It's just good business sense. Are you talking about scammers? They should be pretty obvious, so how much of a burden is it to see it for what it is, delete, block, and move on?

Oh, then you have the people like me. I have a financial domination profile up here somewhere. It is a fetish like any other and both me and the submissives that happen to want to participate are perfectly allowed to have such a fetish. I keep it separate from my main profile and from my primary dominant profile because of the obvious stigma associated with it. It is what I consider a "specialized" fetish and, therefore, has it's own space.

Of course, there are the ones who want money to come visit or money to move or money to blah, blah, blah. Have your own rules established for such things ahead of time and stick to them, but be aware you may overlook someone genuine due to those rules and be prepared to live with that.

This is a thorough answer to your question. I hope you do realize that I really had better things to do than to fill you in on the fact that there's this thing called VARIETY on this website, like any other. Quit asking other people to do your homework for you. It's annoying.

I’d like to point out that I would have thought would be obvious, but I guess not. Until such time as you pay a membership fee, CM is under no obligation to do anything unless they chose to

Pros have as much right to be here as anyone else. I see no problem in them advertising for sessions; Pros do have personal lives and have every right to seek out an individual to fulfill their needs. The only problem I have is when a pro attempts to deceive an individual as to their true intentions, as I would with anyone else

Tributes, at first, I was totally against, but after observing the unrealistic expectations that some of the submissives wished to place on the dominant, the more I realized how justified they were. So I’d think twice about handing a dominant a laundry list of wants, and expecting to do nothing in the way of fulfilling their needs. Rest assured, some will be asking for your gold master card to compensate them for their time.

Scammers are not a threat to national security, they will no leap through your monitor and steal your wallet, they will not be able to hypnotize you to do anything you do not want to do. If you receive an overly friendly email from someone who has not viewed you profile, delete and move on. Or if you, in my case I will contact them and then send them to an IM with the other 150 so they can wait for my grand entrance.

Most of what I have encountered, is simply nothing more then computer generated BOT programs that have pre set question and answers. There is no way you can call then the things I have called them an still and have them come back with “How may I serve you”
In fact the only time I was able to illicit a response with any type of emotion is when I called it a poorly written computer program. They would have to be dumb as dirt and have absolutely no understanding of the English language to be real. Delete and move on, the only thing you will lose is a few minutes of your life.
