To answer your question, your age is not so much of an issue - there are lots of Dommes your age or older, as well as younger ones that go for older men.

However, your attitude sounds almost desperate - that's a turnoff. And your profile has been here for over four years, and you have no experience? You're in Orange County, CA - there must be plenty of munches and clubs to go to and meet people. Including Dommes.

Eric, the OC and 5th Wednesday munches are wonderfully pleasant. One cannot seek this type of lifestyle by hiding. You will have to man-up and meet some folks in person. Really, it's just people at a restaurant chit-chatting. You let them know who you are and they can tell you about all sorts of women who you will never see on Collar Me. No one will say "ew gross" or run you off with a broom. If getting out to meet people is too scary, actually serving a dominant woman is going to be out of the question for you.

OP...most, if not all, women find desperation unattractive. Your profile reads like a do-me list. Why not take the time to make yourself attractive to a woman, offer more then a cry for domination and a desire to be controlled.
There is more.
