I hate to disagree with you, but possibly you have not noticed; now there is a report photo button, and if that photo is reported it is reviewed by a human,. who then either lets it go or rejects it.It does not get hidden for 24 hours.

That particular button doesn't show up on my front page despite multiple refreshes.  Perhaps there's a glitch in the site.  This wouldn't surprise me as I've noticed the site frequently experiences technical difficulties with profiles, video greetings, and retaining log-in information.

Nice to see you participating here Alpha.  On a like note I have a similar question. I had a pretty decent pisture of myself and it was bounced. I did have a beer in my hand, is that why ? That it would be considered advertising ?

The pic is of me sitting at a kitchen table drinking a beer, my normal habitat in other words. The only thing that I can even think about it being bounced is that you might be able to figure out what brand of beer I was drinking at the time.

If you get the time to revisit this thread and answer me I woulod appreciate it. Any photo is bound to have something in the background (or whatever). But is the beer what got the pic bounced ? There is nothing explicit, I am fully dressed and really that's the way I want it. The beer can is in my hand, I can obscure the artwork on it to make it non-distinguishable if necessary. Is that what I should do ?

Just wondering. It's not the end of the world, but the pic is enough so that one could recognize me, say walking down the street or in a bar or whatever. But for some reason it got bounced and even though I have figured out alot of things here, I still don't have a grasp on this issue. Was the kitchen too messy ? I didn't think it was all that bad at the time.

Try clicking on the offensive picture and it should enlarge, where you should see the "report" button.

Ah, so it's hiding.  Ya know, having to click on the icky pictures kinda squicks me.  I just don't want to see that crap up close.  It's bad enough in the small version  *shudder*

Say, Ms. Alpha (or anyone), could someone please move that button to the front page next to Report Profile?  That would be a much better place for it.

I did not realize we could object to and report a picture.  I thought if it were visible then it somehow had approval.  Thank you so much for letting me know it's not like that at all.

That may be true, but there's nothing wrong with at least hoping folks will have a little class.

Thank you for saying was I was trying to say but better.  Now that I know you can object to a main photo I will use that as needed to keep Collarme from being what other sites have turned into.  I have nothing against nudity.  There just needs to be some taste involved.

Thats a good point, and I never thought of it ( I think my eyes have developed a hard cover,)[;)]Not sure what's involved( Im not the tech department Ill pass it on) meanwhile you dont have to open them up just click view profile and it will open to a window and one of buttons is report photo. If you click it, it will take you to one page with all their photos listed and you just click the ones you want to report,

That's going to take years.  Years, I tell you!  [;)]

Seriously though, thanks for the info.  I'd offer to volunteer to help with the photo mod duties if I thought anyone would take it.  I'm a freelance writer so I work from home.  I'm not on the bestseller list yet so I have time.
