I spotted this article and thought it was interesting. It never ceases to amaze me, the things they can do with modern technology.

I would imagine it was equally transforming for this child that the person who taught him has the same condition and yet has learned to live freely. A sighted person teaching a skill will not have nearly as much the impact as another blind one.

I remember watching a series i think it was called the Bold Ones. They had something that put images on the back of a blind person. If i remember correctly it would only work on one
who had sight and then lost their sight.

I remember reading that they were trying echo sounds like Dolphins use, on blind people. I think it is a great idea. I have seen the story that was posted to this link on the kid that can play video games and other amazing things. I think this is absolutely wonderful. It opens up a whole new world for them.

I had a friend that was blind had she lived she would have been amazed...
