After having five YEARS of grief counseling [due to three very important people dying with days of each other] I can tell you that the most important thing I learned is: Do NOT let anyone say to you: "It's time to stop your grieving. Lay it aside." If anyone says any such a thing to you, please send them to me and I will give them a lesson in grief and how to handle it that they will never forget. We all grieve in our own way and in our own time. Please take the time you need and if you feel the slightest want or need to talk about these issues, PLEASE c-mail me and we'll go to e-mail immediately. Actually, that's the second most important thing. The most important thing is to treat yourself well. Quiet times, decent food, appropriate sleep, and just let all the memories flow. Best personal regards, with tears in my eyes for your loss, Lance.
