Jeez, dude.  Can you say, "Not the point!"  If it's the same guy, he's still dead.  Do you think those who loved him are more comforted to know that he might have died in the ways you mentioned?

Your post is a good example of nonconsensual sadism.

sweetsub,
i just want to tell you that for the majority of us here, we don't give a rat's ass how he came to be dead.....The reality is you are hurting.....You are suffering a horrific and terrible loss. One that most of us can only dare to even think about in the deep recesses of our minds when things are really really quiet late at night...And even then it's only momentairly... And here you are living through it...One day at a time...One hour at a time..One minute at a time..One moment at a time..One breath at a time...You are living with the utmost grace and dignity through something that most of us do not even want to consider. So, please do not feed into the petty and stupid superficial bullshit posted here by thoughtless people...Please just pass them by....
Respectfully,
Kali

Was he drunk, or suicidal?  The news says his identaty was known on Friday.

I saw that article.  It didn't name the man, they were still waiting on dental records for a positive ID.  I'm sure it's Sir though, as we stayed in contact at least twice every day and I haven't heard from Him since the evening of Oct. 8.  He hardly ever drank & then not much.....as to whether He was suicidal, it would seem not.  We were making plans to see each other the next day and the whole weekend, AND we were just that night IMing about plans for Christmas/Solstice and spending it together.  The whole thing is a shock.

Thank you RedMagic1.  I don't think HOW someone died makes it any less tragic for those who loved the person.  If K.K. thinks so, he only needs to read my CM journal to be set straight.  I never before put my innermost feelings into it, but I have been lately.

Thank you Kali.  Some people can just say some of the most heartless things.  But I consider that maybe he's never lost someone he's been in love with.  It's too bad that anyone has to go through that.

Sweetsub, I have. & I agree -- I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. It's 10 months later, for me, & I still cry a lot. I'm only startin' to come out of the bleakness that descended when I learned about my guy . .. . .

One thing that helps is that these death processes (funerals & everything else) are about the living. & celebrating the life of the one who's passed . . . .. . But mostly about the living. Finding closure. Healing. Letting go. Someday, moving on . . . ..

Courage, woman.

And she is right.
it takes time to recover from that type of shock. I have watched your posts change over the months, and you have become softer and more gentle. Whatever you two had together gave you some comfort and ease. Remember him and keep the good... but heal and learn to live again.
I am sorry for your loss.

I lost someone I loved intensely about two years ago and it still hurts to this day. In this case it wasn't a spouse or a mate, but a child. I have good days, bad days, and really bad days. Like Demonkia said it's all about the grieving process and those living, healing (which can really be a bitch) and letting go (which can be hard to master). ONce again my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Sweetsub1957, I may be one of the newest members on this site but I am not new to the sorrow and grief surrounding you. There are stages we go through within the grieving process but there are no answers in how to eliminate the emptiness or the void that seems to fill your every wakened moment. I canceled contracts closed my offices and took two years off getting away from everyone I knew. Steeped myself in challenges I had wanted to face for many years but didn’t because I had a Mistress to support and attend to. Now I don’t know if that was the right or wrong thing to do or even if it is advice but I do know I have touched your sorrow and have you in my prayers. Good luck.

The loss of a loved one can be difficult indeed, I can only imagine how hard it must be to lose your significant other.  I wish you the best of luck in dealing with this great tragedy.
