For personal reasons, I'd like to delete this profile and create a new one - really, I just want to change my username - can the Mods do that or do I have to make this account inactive and create a new one? If so, can I use the same email?

you go out to the front, and edit profile, and there is a delete profile there, and thats that. you cannot change your nick on an active profile. so you have to create a new one........ you can also have quite a few profiles with the same email addy, I have known of a scammer who had more than fourty at one time. I'll bite, how in hell do we pronounce that? I hear screen names in my head which helps me connect the name to the poster. If I can't figure out how to say it, I'm in trouble.
