Can't remember if I ever did like change, but I don't recall ever being averse to it either.

Just turned 51 a month or two back (not sure what I think about that just yet).

I like things the way they are.

I like my car.  And my house.  And my 2 cats (okay, I fucking hate my cats....because they always stick their butts in my face when I sleep and they think it's quite funny), the fact that I've figured out which TV clicker is for the washing machine, that I have now learned where my car keys are.  I've recently learned how to make oatmeal, there's a mirror....with exceptionally good lighting that I walk by every morning before I leave....and I have not left the house with a yellow sock on one foot and a blue one on the other in well over 3 years.

Okay.....now I think I should build a moat.

Food dropped in by airlift....cable man only allowed in under armed guard.....

(Okay....I think I might even be freaking me out here).

When my Dad said that he was going to move this month, Thing 2 asked if he was going to be happy and well cared for.  He replied, "Yes, it's going to be a fun change for me, especially at 84... Grandaddy gets his first bachelor apt., isn't that cool?"  She waited a minute and answered to my Dad and said, "Yeah... if you're happy, that's all that matters.  Change can be hard, but if you look at it like an adventure, it's great!"  My father quickly agreed with her.

I don't know how old this girl really is... but I wanna be like her when I grow up.  [8|]

Well, considering I'm in the middle of another change, I have to agree w/Lookie......a little change is fine, but big ones....not so fine.  Hopefully, this one will be the last change for me for a while.  I just wish that I'd get confirmation of a start date for the job that I came out here for.....I don't handle waiting very well, and the suspense is killing me!

And I wish I could like my cell phone!  You'd think that they'd all work about the same....but no, I had to get a new one, and I'm still trying to figure out how it works!
