Pine just won't cut it under most any circumstances. To do a good job, it requires hardwoods. That and layers to damp sound and other vibrations. :)

Status: offline 		My cheapest toys would also have to be paint sticks. However since getting more into woodworking, I'm less apt to 'waste' them on play. The cheapest toy I've bought would have to be my plastic paddle that I scored from a frieght salvage store for a buck.

On the other side of the spectrum, I have a flogger I made that sported a 400$ price tag before I decided that it needed to live in my toybag. As for the most expensive toy I've purchased, that's a tough call. I have several hundred dollars of rope. But is each rope counted seperate or the whole lot together? I do have an inflatable dildo that cost me 59$.

I'll have to change my answer as soon as I've scraped up the dollars to buy myself an Industrial Kink sling/suspension frame. Once I have it, at 800ish dollars, that will by far be my most expensive toy.

Status: offline 		My cheapest toy would be the shiney black rubber flogger I made from a bike inner tube a flatmate "gifted" me with...and at other end of the spectrum it would be my bondage corset made to measure and lovingly designed by my corsettier and her Dom with imput from me ...still was only $450 though.

Status: offline 		Cheapest toy we have is a tie between a piece of Hot Wheels track, a 5-gallon sized paint stirrer, and a 6' long wooden paddle that says "Board of Education." They were all free.

Most expensive is a tie at $1500.00 apiece - a Sybian, and a f***ing machine.

You can make one a whole lot sturdier and a whole lot cheaper with 2" square tube steel and a welder. We used it to build an 8' tall, 9' x 9' suspension frame in one room of our dungeon for under $400. Drill eyebolt holes about every 18 inches, and you've got one very versatile framework.

"Pervertables" from discount shps are always fun and very inexpensive.
The cheapest toy I have is a fly-swatter I purchased in a dollar store for...a dollar!:)

The most expensive toy I have is a proper institutional straight jacket at $200.

I've used the fly-swatter more.:)

Well, I don't know about magnetic rocks, but magnets can be used in some VERY interesting ways, if they're strong enough. Most home improvement stores carry magnets strong enough to attract through flesh. I'll leave the rest to your imagination.

As for a hot wheels track - depending on which side you use, it either stings like hell, or it stings like hell AND leaves a nice double stripe.

Cheapest: My first (and only) Violet Ray Wand. I found it, and four others, in an antique store in 1984. Bought the lot for $100.00. My friend, Toymaker, fixed four of them with parts from the non functioning fifth, and e sold three of them for $100.00 each! Toymaker kept one and I the other and thus, the toy was free *and* earned Me $150.00. Some years later, I sold Mine to Maater Wolf in San Francisco for $100.00.

These wewre the BDSM community's *first* violet ray wands and they started the trend. Toymaker and My old Master, Donnie Rice marketed them for quite some time and Donnie's widow still has the business rights I believe.

Most expensive toy: A beautiful parrot cage large enough for a man to kneel in. $750.00.
It is not donated to a parrot rescue charity but it was a GREAT cage while I had it.

most expensive would have to be the (ownership) anklet i wear all the time, though for the security it gives me emotionally it is definately worth it (yeah, soppy huh? lol)

most expensive: this you beaut electrical TENS device we have, it can support like 12 outlets, has a range of intensity between 1 and 99, its a pretty cool toy $650 or maybe it was $500 i cant remember, but it was up around there.

What i consider to be my most expensive toy is the teeny lil blindfold i bought for $32 bucks simply for no other reason than it doesn't mess with my eyelashes and all that mascara.............i look at price vs how much is received. That lil piece of leather has got to be very high priced, per yard, at $32 dollars.

The least expensive toy i have is my heavy, 40-drop, 1/4" bullhide flogger with the chrome emblem on the end of the braided handle that i only paid $149 dollars for...... a lot of toy for that price.

i'm not much into household items. i've sorta got a fetish for hard, heavy, menacing looking toys. Lots of metal and leather, lots of studs and D-rings and chains and such......
