Rob Zombie is the musician who founded the band White Zombie. He is also the writer and director of the horror films "House of a thousand corpses" and "The Devil's Rejects". Rob Zombie's first job in the entertainment field was as a technician on the children's TV show "Pee Wee's Playhouse".

'Nuff said LOL!!!

Wow! I didn't know that about Rob (and I worked for WZ for a brief bit!!)

HatesParisHilton -> RE: Trivia (10/14/2009 1:59:53 AM)

The guy who played "The Mad Artist" in House of 1000 Corpses is the same actor who played ChopTop (Brother of Leatherface and psycho-funny Vietnam Vet) in Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2.

"GodDAMMIT, that was my best Sonny Bono wig!"

"INcoming MAIL!  INcoming MAIL!"

twisted film but funny as fuck, and a fave of Rob's.

The quack of a duck does not echo.

HotFaerieMama -> RE: Trivia (10/14/2009 11:28:55 AM)

acutally... that's wrong.. Mythbusters did that... the Quack of a duck does echo.. but its at the same frequency and volume of the original quack.. so its not heard.

Average house cats have 18 claws - five on each front paw and 4 on each back.

Beloved Mr. Rogers was NOT a Navy Seal. In fact, he was never in the military at all.

This piece of trivia comes from a discussion I had with a friend who said Mr. Rogers was a U.S. Navy Seal, combat proven in Vietnam with over twenty-five confirmed kills to his name. He wore a long sleeve sweater to cover the many tattoo's on his forearm and biceps.

sunshinemiss -> RE: Trivia (10/14/2009 12:34:13 PM)

In 1914, for Christmas, the troops on both sides in Flanders, stopped fighting to celebrate Christmas together.  They first met in the middle to shake hands and then buried their dead.  Then they exchanged gifts, played soccer, sang carols.

Fighting started again soon after, as is wont to happen, but what an inspiration!

The actual line was "You Played for her, now play it for me. Play it again"

Oh Lord...where to start?

The shark in Jaws was named after Speilberg's laywer for the picture.

What was supposed to have been the 4th of July beach panic was actually shot in February......if you'll notice in the shots where the band is practicing, you'll see that the trees have no leaves on them.

In the movies and mini-series that Stephen King wrote himself, he always had a walk on part....just like Hitchcock used to do.

Yeah, I love movie trivia.....

and almost always plays a dumb maine hick

Chris Claremont did not invent the New Members of the Uncany X-Men, nor created any of the first (more than 30) storylines/plots:  Len Wein did.  Claremont just worked off the plots which were "under the table work" for Len.  Nightcrawler, Ororo, Collossus, all Len.

As was Swamp Thing, by the way.

10% of the salt mined in the world each year is used to de-ice the roads in America (I think they mean the United States)
according to my aunt.
