I was exchanging mails with a sub recently and above where you read your mails it said "This user does not have an active profile" What does that mean? She appeared to have an active profile, could read it and see her pics, and could exchange mails. What's not active about that? Sorry, I can't find any 'help' area to ask the question. anyone here know? rgds FG

This can mean two things I believe. Either she has hidden her profile and it is no longer searchable or she has deleted her profile. I currently have my profile hidden to avoid an inbox full of emails and greetings that I don't want to deal with while I take some time away from CM. I still pop on and have a look around occasionally. Hope this helps :-)

Hi sybarite, thanks for the suggestions. Maybe she switches her profile on and off quite a bit? She doesn't show up in a search, you're right, even if you put her name in specifically. I noticed some cynicism when talking, so maybe it's an idiot defence! I just wondered what the "official" status of a non-active profile was!
