Many years ago, as a little leaguer, I was taught to become Dominant on the pithcing mound and in the batter's box. My competiveness drives me to win, to beat my opponent. To intimidate them and talk trash and let them know, "I AM THE MAN!" So, now years later..it transpires into the bedroom and the D/s relationship. I want to beat you, talk trash to you, humiliate you and say "I AM THE MAN!" God, I love sports and I've come to this conclusion without paying one cent to my Psychiatrist. Can anyone else relate? If not, hell, just tell me your favorite sport, kricket doesn't count my friend, RavenMuse.[:D] Peace, Kevin Well.... I know where you’re coming from, because I still play competitive sports myself {Basketball}. I also like to compete against Mother Nature.... it's a much finer challenge than humans. I can still remember the days during high school, were before the game my Dad would put his arm around me and remind me that every time the halfback got past the linebackers and into the secondary.... he'd spot me a fifty-dollar bill if I caused a fumble, stripped the ball or knocked the wind out of him. But the thing that I agree with you most about is the competitive spirit that sports brings out in every single participant. Many will disagree... But I think that attaining that competitive spirit early on {And I'm saying sports is the only way to attain it} is critical in that is pushes us to excel in our other endeavors much later. - The Ranger
