Thank you, but that was a long time ago, now it's bowling and golf.

Rugby, now thats a rough game. Two teams of burley men go onto the field and basicaly kick the crud out of each other whilst occassionaly getting the ball to the other end of the field.

You're suggesting a little dark green belt can take on a 4th degree black belt? Not to mention, this Master carries a BIG stick *grin* hehe

i think sports are just excuses for men to either beat the living daylights outta eachother or to safely grope and fondle eachother without being thought of as gay...and what's the deal with golf? grown men with a crocked stick hitting a small white ball around a large green field in order to try to get it into a small hole in the ground. they hit the ball as far as they can, then they go look for it. when they find it, what do they do? they hit it again...what's with that?

they should count their blessings that they even found the damned thing and go home...they've won. if they really want to make golf interesting, they should make the balls the same color as the playing field...the first one to find the ball, wins.

here's another suggestion for golf: place a small explosive inside each hole, that way the ball explodes when it falls in. sure would liven things up there.

and then there's boxing. what's with that?

if two people were to fight like that on the streets, they would both be arrested...legal assault, i think. hmmm, who says crime doesn't pay?

I've seen women 'play' rugby.... didn't see much real carnage.
Definatly not compaired to what happens when you take two groups of normaly sane girls and put hockey sticks in their hands..... now THAT gets scary!

I've played actively in sports for the past twenty years and I think that is where my Domination began. Many years ago, as a little leaguer, I was taught to become Dominant on the pithcing mound and in the batter's box.
My competiveness drives me to win, to beat my opponent. To intimidate them and talk trash and let them know, "I AM THE MAN!"
So, now years later..it transpires into the bedroom and the D/s relationship.
I want to beat you, talk trash to you, humiliate you and say "I AM THE MAN!"
God, I love sports and I've come to this conclusion without paying one cent to my Psychiatrist.
Can anyone else relate? If not, hell, just tell me your favorite sport, kricket doesn't count my friend, RavenMuse.

Peace, Kevin

Well.... I know where you’re coming from, because I still play competitive sports myself {Basketball}. I also like to compete against Mother Nature.... it's a much finer challenge than humans.

I can still remember the days during high school, were before the game my Dad would put his arm around me and remind me that every time the halfback got past the linebackers and into the secondary.... he'd spot me a fifty-dollar bill if I caused a fumble, stripped the ball or knocked the wind out of him.

But the thing that I agree with you most about is the competitive spirit that sports brings out in every single participant. Many will disagree... But I think that attaining that competitive spirit early on {And I'm saying sports is the only way to attain it} is critical in that is pushes us to excel in our other endeavors much later.
