Okay so I've been working out really hard lately and I modified my diet. I hired a personal trainer and I workout about 4-5 days a week. I have a goal weight I'm trying to reach. So anyways tend to eat a whole lot of chicken because it's high in protein and it's a low fat meat. There are only so many ways you can cook chicken and I'm starting to get sick of eating the same thing over and over again. So I'm asking maybe even pleading for help. What are some innovative low in fat chicken recipes that you all have.

Thanks in advance!!!!!!!!

Not chicken related but. . . muscles, clams, shrimp, and oysters are all low in fat and high in protien as well.

Chicken. . . do you have a grill?  Turn on one side and on the other place your chicken.  Cook until done.  It will be like that rotesseri stuff from the grocery store, but BETTER!

Aylee: I didn't think about muscles or clams. I do eat a lot of tuna though because that's good too as long as you watch for the mercury content. Shrimp I have a hard time cooking, but maybe I'll go dig up some spicy recipes for that.

divi: I just made homemade chicken soup although I have never made chicken chili that sounds like a good idea!!!

thanks!!

I marinate in Italian dressing before grilling sometimes. Or, I often just cook it on the stove, in a little olive oil, after I've sprinkled it with some garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, basil, parsley, whatever I grab. Both are good hot, or cold sliced on salads.

She gave me foods I can eat. Good carbs, bad carbs, good proteins bad proteins, snacks minus peanuts because I'm allergic. So basically foods I can eat, but not recipes. Protein is really important too. But the list of good proteins are relatively small and I'm not a big fan of pork so lean pork cuts don't work well for me.

ETA: That not all personal training sessions work like the biggest loser... Just saying.

I also like to slice the boneless breasts and create all sorts of stir fry dishes. They are usually low cal and very yummy.

If you cut your chicken into small chunks, cover the pieces in cayenne pepper (you really have to like spicey foods to eat this), a little fresh garlic and then add a little bit of olive oil to your pan and slowly cook the chicken it is FANTASTIC!! I like serving it over wild rice.

Oh they make chicken brats and they are pretty good! Its the turkey sausage that kills me.

ALthough I was going to try and make some stuffed swiss chard with ground turkey and some low fat mozz cheese and some onions and a few other things added in.

Well I was told to eat 5-6 mall meals a day. Basically about every three hours. So I really have to watch the portions I eat or I'm not hungry in three hours.
