ORIGINAL: DarkSteven WTF? This is the 21st century. I've seen interracial couples before and don't think anything of it. I totally agree, Steven. I always have to wonder where people live where such extreme prejudice goes on. Twenty years ago, sure, but these days interracial couples are not a strange or rare occurance. Hell, I'm from WV, now live in AR, and have lived in VA, TN, NC and KY. I've never seen or been personally involved in any such ostracizing over racially-mixed couples. And as for the bullshit line about worrying for "the children," that doesn't hold water. Again, 25 years ago, maybe it wasn't as common to see children of more than one race in most areas. These days, again, it's not a rare occurance. I don't think it's a major problem across the US that mixed-race children are targets of hate. Hell, if not for adults, kids wouldn't even know they were "supposed" to be only one race . I "worry" for the mixed-race children too but only because of assholish, moronic adults who see that there is any kind of problem with their racial makeup. This guy is a real gem. He won't marry two folks of different races simply because of that but two people of any race (as long as it's the same one) can walk in and NO MATTER HOW poorly matched they are, he has no way of knowing and marries them any way. Yeah, a real genius...................luci
