Can anyone help with some information on a gag that will inhibit speech but not harm the jaw; when I wear the standard 'ball gag', it stretches my jaw so wide  that after a few hours the jaw muscles are paraalyzed and won't close, and the 'trick/jaw' mandible bone is out of its jaw socket. It is a scary feeling, and I am just wondering if there is some other type of gag that can be worn without it stretching the jaw so much.  I tried the 'bit' used for pony-play, but it harms the teeth that are biting into it.

Try a mouthguard gag. http://www.brownbottle.com/gags1.html
or you could have someone make a "scold" -basically a flat piece of metal covered in leather to hold your tongue down  in place of a ball gag.

Use her panties and duct tape.  I guarantee it won't aggravate TMJ.  Unless she wears really big panties.

I like to use bondage tape, first wrapped around the mouth and between the teeth (like a cleave style), and then wrapped around the mouth with the lips closed. It shouldn't stretch the jaw at all.

One can stretch the jaw with all three of those, though the inflatable gag is a good idea as you can choose a comfortable size. I'm not sure what you're using as a bit gag but they are usually soft enough not to harm the teeth. Mostly I'd suggest that you're wearing the ball gag for too long, a smaller size will help but if you're looking for something to wear long term, you may want to consider something like this that doesn't actually enter the mouth: http://www.medicaltoys.com/Over-Mouth-Neck-Corset1-L.jpg

I have the same problem with my jaw. I have TMJ and gags always aggrivate my jaw. I am pretty much useless in the cock worship area after a gag is used for a long period of time. I like the mouth guard gag that was posted above. I am going to invest in that one for sure.

Heres a muzzle that will keep the mouth closed and prevent noise. http://www.mr-s-leather.com/HT013.html

Those super comfort ball gags look the job - we have one already but herself has a small mouth (I know :)) but she has been saying that the gag makes her jaw sore. Thankfully it has never locked in the same fashion as the OP. Cheers for the link.

I prefer to use a rubber bit gag. It's nowhere near the size of a ball. I made mine from a standard rubber bit from a tack shop, 2 small bridle pieces, and just 2 snaps from the fabric store...total investment-$14. I did have my leathermaker design and make another bit from rolled leather since the toothmarks are getting a bit deep in the rubber one, she can't bite thru this one! haha

(the bit came from stateline tack, you can shop online there. LOTS of fun things to be had )
