Apparently this is a true story, so here goes...
Late at night, a driver is pulled over by the police as they suspect he his drunk.
Before the police can establish whether or not he is indeed drunk, an accident happens on the other side of the road.
The police officers tell the driver to stay where his is before they rush off and attend to the accident.
The drunk driver thinks to hell with that, jumps in and drives home.
The next morning the police pay him a visit.
By now he has sobered up completely and there no chance of proving whether he was drunk or not.
The police ask if they can look in his garage where he parked the car.
"Yeah, why not," he agrees.
So he opens the garage doors and all peer inside.
"I see sir and how long have you been driving a police car?"
