@Barely: Nah, I think "hate" is exactly the right word. When you see nutcase teabaggers showing up at Presidential appearances, packing automatic assault weapons, and many of them are carrying signs that protray the POTUS as either the Joker, (a homicidal maniac killer) or as the racist image of an African witch Doctor, you begin to realize that calling them the "honorable opposition" is absurd. These people are the stupid, uninformed mob from the Frankenstein films. All they are missing are the pitchforkes and the torches. And there, at the head of the stage before them is NOT Kenneth Mars as Inspector Kemp, but gool ol' bat shit crazy Glenn Beck, fake tears flowing from his eyes.

Cute question, cute kid - and i wonder how long it took him to memorize it. You can't tell me that the whole thing wasn't pre-organised. There is no way that a politician nowdays would allow a random question to hit the tv cameras. Way too many opportunities for disaster in that scenerio. But if his answer was an ad lib it was a pretty good one.

I guess you've either never heard of insect wranglers using temperature and scent to get flies to do certain things (magicians use the trick, too), or just can't imagine that the Obama administation might ever hire such a person. I don't know that it actually was, but it could easily have been staged. Perhaps Mythbusters will take on the challenge of figing out how plausible it is. Would you prefer I suggested this was as staged as Jesse Jackson's "microphone gaffe" about cutting off candidate Obama's nuts? I found that far less believable than either of these moments.
