Both the Home Improvment Channel and Animal Planet had some good ideas.

On one episode, the family had a flap divice built that would allow the bats to fly out but not back in.

Bats normally get in through the roofs ventalation/breathing vents. From the inside, use screen wire to allow only the air to pass through.

I spoke to my sister. She is emailing me the bat house info, which I will gladly send your way when I recieve it. She says they look easy to make and inexpensive or that you can buy them already made startibg at approx $ 35. She and hubby and children will be making theirs come the warmer weather. I guess you have to wait until they baby bats have grown. Not sure what bat baby birthing time is,lol, but the info is comimg.
