nice back...

Thank you.  However, you should have said something like "dulcet vertebrae" or "toothsome shoulderblades".  You see?  It cuts both ways.  I might be offended by a woman saying 'nice back'.  I'm not - but I might be.  [;)]

Lockit -> RE: Opening a conversation with a Mistress... (10/17/2009 4:06:31 PM)

I start rolling my eye's when I read... I love your profile! Almost all the troll's, scammer's and non reader's of my profile have said that! lol The one's that I take seriously make a comment about something I said in my journal or how they relate to what I say in my profile. I need more than... I like..love your profile or picture!

The emails that speak to me the most don't talk about kink or sex or this site... but instead, something I have said and how they relate to it, agree or disagree or question. They put me into it without sexual or mistressy bs and they put themselves into it by just talking and not presenting a six foot, two hundred pounder with blue eyes who loves to serve and be led by a dominant woman. I want to see who he is and with that discription, I see about a quarter of the male population. (statistics just an example and not real data! hehe)

If the man has interesting things to say about something, I like a long email. If he doesn't know what to say past a comment on something I have said that is okay as long as he speaks respectfully even in a challenge of what I have said.

I don't want a life story, fantasy, outside address, phone number, complaint, naked picture or bdsm picture like cbt. I do want to see something of the man and his ability to hold a conversation about things outside a hook up of some sort and a decent, dressed picture is a bonus. Anything you wouldn't want said to your mother or sister, don't say!

Lacking substance... I find a lack of interest.

Politesub53 -> RE: Opening a conversation with a Mistress... (10/17/2009 4:15:17 PM)

Lockit, I love your profile........"sniggers a tad"

I was born on a Thursday, I remember it well. It was a mild spring like day and so on and such like.....LOL

Lockit -> RE: Opening a conversation with a Mistress... (10/17/2009 4:19:28 PM)

LOL Politesub... I did forget to mention humor! Humor is big!

Also if one is going to say they read the profile... they need to show up on the who has viewed list... (which you didn't recently, hehe) AND have enough time from showing up and emailing to give time to have read it.

Run's to find the dirt on Thursday babies... born in spring... and wonders about birth order...

SnowRanger -> RE: Opening a conversation with a Mistress... (10/17/2009 4:23:01 PM)

Lockit!.. That's ME!..  A six foot, two hundred pound, blue.. no... grey eyed man with a 12 inch... ah... 9 inch... um....   DRAT!  I shoud have read this thing before responding!

Politesub53 -> RE: Opening a conversation with a Mistress... (10/17/2009 4:25:25 PM)

Birth order ?  was the nurse a Domme ?

Politesub, get your cute little butt out here NOW....... yep that would explain a few things

Lockit -> RE: Opening a conversation with a Mistress... (10/17/2009 4:28:06 PM)

You guys are bad! lol

LadyPact -> RE: Opening a conversation with a Mistress... (10/17/2009 4:29:43 PM)

Yeah, Lockit..... Like this is news?

SnowRanger -> RE: Opening a conversation with a Mistress... (10/17/2009 4:48:53 PM)

Humor!  Eureka!

I'll tell a joke!  Okay!  Let's see....

A blonde, a brunet and a red head go into a bar...  No... can't go there.
A rabbi, a preacher and a priest go into a bar...  Better stay away from religion.
A cowboy, a mule skinner and a gold miner go into a bar...  Nobody ever gets mule skinner jokes.

Okay, telling a joke is out!

Renee7852 -> RE: Opening a conversation with a Mistress... (10/17/2009 10:05:09 PM)

"You only get one chance to make a first impression" is a good thing to keep in mind when contacting a Domme (or anyone) here or anywhere else online. I got so tired of getting the "Mistress do you like cbt?" oneliner emails that I finally addressed the issue in My profile. Now I tend to get much nice emails from men I do enjoy talking to and getting to know. Good luck!

slavekal -> RE: Opening a conversation with a Mistress... (10/18/2009 3:09:43 PM)

Tricky situation.  I recommend being slightly formal and servile, but not overly so.  Read her reactions.  Some women have a very casual style, at first anyway.  Some expect high formality and protocol from the beginning.  It is probably best to at least be deferrential and somewhat reverent.

Kuntboy -> RE: Opening a conversation with a Mistress... (12/11/2009 11:17:24 AM)

I have not had too much luck here, but I did find that appealing to Dommes' intelligence does seem to work. I can't prove this scientifically, but I have found that most Dominant females are above-average in intelligence. I think it's self-selecting; it takes a smart woman in this day and age to be able to assess her own level of importance in the way she relates to the outside world. That's why a well-written, grammatically correct letter seems to elicit response at least some of the time. Dommes also seem to be a little quirky -- one will respond kindly, the next will harshly blow you off for the least mistake or misperception.

But it's a two-sided coin -- sometimes, Dommes seem to be put off by language that is "too correct." It's confounding the the lowly, that's for sure!

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Opening a conversation with a Mistress... (12/11/2009 11:28:50 AM)

You're right, Kuntboy, it's a minefield for the new!

Lockit -> RE: Opening a conversation with a Mistress... (12/11/2009 11:40:37 AM)

Ahhhh... but they look so darn cute running naked trying to miss the mines. [8D]

LaTigresse -> RE: Opening a conversation with a Mistress... (12/11/2009 11:50:09 AM)

It makes me giggle.

Indeed.  As do tasteful screen names.  But perhaps you are into art, and you meant for your screen name to be Kunstboy?

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Opening a conversation with a Mistress... (12/11/2009 2:21:11 PM)

Thank you, V. [;)]
