Status: offline 		I've played with my fair share of peppermint oil and ginger root, but this little gem is sooo much fun. It's a medical food for those with IBS containing a mixture of peppermint oil extract and ginger oil. Some of the sites I found had fennel as one of the other ingredients as well. Use peppermint and ginger oil as a keyword to find several places for online purchases, or IBS medicine might work as well. Heathers Tummy Tamers is the one we purchased and then used this evening and that one has the fennel as well.

The combination of the peppermint and ginger gives a wonderful hot/cold effect. It lasts a bit longer than a figging and sitting can spike the effect if used in the anus. There are several sites which sell this combination and it's much more cost effective than organic ginger. So, for those who like irritant play, I highly recommend the mint/ginger combo for your toy bag. One enteric coated softgel was good for almost an hour of play.. and at about 9 cents, it was a great bargain.

Check out risks factors prior to usage.

Status: offline 		Ooooooooh...thanks for sharing. Will definately have to make the small investment. I couldn't find anything on any possible side effects. Did learn peppermint is an antibacterial though. Love the extra "perks".

Most all essential oils are antibacterial and some are also antiviral. I’ve used cinnamon oil, lightly diluted with carrier oil, although any oil you should do a small test first.

I use lavender oil neat to apply to wounds to kill bacteria and it also calms the pain. After a severe welting on the bottom, lavender will also help stimulate healing & help with the pain. Some people like the pain but if you’re done when it’s over, this works well. It helps scarring as well.

Status: offline 		That sounds to me more like a danger than a perk. Don't put antibacterials in the nether regions.

Status: offline 		One must execute absolute caution when using any essential oil on mucous membranes.
The peppermint/ginger combination is meant to be taken internally.
Applied to the anus undiluted can mean harming one's playmate.
As a saidist, I do love to hurt the subs I play with, but I've no intention to harm them.
Irritating the anus too much can leave the skin cracked, which would allow bacteria from fecal matter to penetrate the skin. Could lead to infection.

Status: offline 		For those of you that like the warmth and glow of ginger, may I suggest the use of Ginger Root, easily grown, and inexpensive at the store, Just peel a large piece, and use it as a play toy for the anus or vagina. No harmful effects, but leaves a very warm, to hot feeling, but not a burning feeling. When the ginger is peeled, it is also a natural lube as it secretes it moisture. Enjoy it folks, it's one of the cheapest heat toys around, just one word of caution with anal play, it does cause diarrhea later on, but nothing drastic. For those into Sounds, a small sliver inserted before a sound, makes a great warming sensation thru out the entire shaft of the penis, and warms the prostrate from the top side. Awesome Feeling.

Most of our activities which carry a degree of risk are done few and far between. For example, Himself only fists me once or twice a year. There is just so much to do, that nothing is done regularly. I've assessed the risk and choose to move forward. In addition, I also suggested that others assess the risk as well, but as adults it's a matter of individual choice. If I cut out everything that was risky, I wouldn't do a third of what I do nor have nearly as much fun. We used a single capsule which contains very little oil and it was divided over three areas. I thank you for your concern, however and appreciate the cautionary warning.
