I recently attended a reversing the aging process gathering, the ages ranged from 30’s to 80’s and I suspect some were much older. Interestingly sexual activeness and diversity were topics.
When it came time for my comments I expressed interests in D/s and submission in particular. There were a few giggles and a couple of eye rolls but keen interest filled the air, questions and comments that more than suggested many were very familiar and two couples openly expressed active participation. One lady shared experiences dating back to 1945.
After the meeting I ask her if she would grant me the honor of having dinner with me, she refused but ask if I would call her in a day or two and ask again. I did and it was one of the most intellectually stimulation dinner dates I have ever had. Her stories were fascinating. This woman was 83 gracious refined old but strikingly impressive in her demeanor. A grand older woman that made my spirit soar to just sit there and listen for well over two hours to her remembrances.
In fact we are discussing a book together and I am very excited about that.

My seach is for subs between 18 and 99 up to 200 lbs and I get less than 10 who have been on in the last few days the rest are months old which tells me they are no longer active [within 50 miles of Columbus] so where are all these people I hear others talk about?

As far as i can see this site is peopled by folk of all ages, both Master/Dom and slave/sub, and if you refine your search parameters you will find them.

As to your profile, and no, i haven't read it, but think about it from the reader's pov rather than it being pleasing to yourself, and if you know someone whose opinion you can trust, run it by them for input. Also, i would look at those Masters/Dominants who have met via sites like these, there are threads about now asking how folk met, and have a look at their profiles, what elements are common to most, and use similar ones for yourself.

I suggest you loosen your search requirements to "any" subs in Ohio and perhaps search in nearby states.
Many people only list a state and not a city.

Like pinkwind said, maybe look at it from the reader's point of view.  I'm not a D-type, but I do write my profile from the angle of what I can offer the reader.  The readers want to know why it would be good for them to get to know You.  There are a lot of "I" statements, but You don't really say what You can offer.  Everyone, whether Dominant or submissive/slave, has things they want out of a relationship (vanilla as well as kink), and that includes the readers.  Make them want to find out more.

I think overall your best bet for finding a sub is to attend local munches, honestly.

Maybe we should start a thread or something for mature doms and subs on this site. I've noticed that most female subs are young (under 22) and most seem to be looking for a boyfriend who is dominant. But is that the same thing as a dom?

There are alot of older doms, subs, ect on this site. Refine your age preferences if on the other side and you will only see the age range you desire.

Do not rely on Collarme's distance meter.  Gary and I live together, but Collarme says we are 63 miles apart.  Also, 50 miles is not much of a search area.  Gary and I lived 550 miles apart when we met.  Thank goodness for kinky camping trips.

Master and I just celebrated 2 years together.  When we met He was 46 and I was 54. 

What I noticed before we met is that a lot of "mature" Doms were not at all interested in submissives older than themselves, so there wasn't a lot of room for "mature" ( I prefer the term 'ageless') submissives.

I agree, your age is really not a factor in how successful you are with attracting the right people.
