I have worn my hair chin length for close to 30 years, it's how I and my hair look best.

MasterK could tell me to grow it, or shave it off for that matter if he so desired, but apparently he has no strong preference on my hair length. Therefore I am able to continue wearing it how I prefer.

zephyroftheNorth If the mods want him to shorten his tittles they will tell him to do so. All though I gather for the weight thread they did tell him no more long long tittles, but this one's not so bad.

i don't think this is necessarily true across the board. at present i'm in hack mode and would prefer to go short. however, i'm going to defer to my Owner's preferences instead. it would only mean the prospect of growing it all back if He desires something different. which is more work than i want.

you know about the history?
in the old time slaves of the romes and greecs have long hairs, but the hair was also owned from her owner, in north and central europe it was different, only free peoples have the right on long hairs, so the unfree peoples was also called as shaved. like the sheep or goats.
for some are the point to the historical life important. self the mongolian slaves was shaved, for some owner was today only enough if the slaves have no hair on the body and the hair on the head was longer. in some regions the most hairs was burned of, all hairs, (today the name egghead) to show that the slave dont have the right on own hairs and that he was owned. but this also was a protection for the slaves, because if another peoples injures a slave he have to pay for them, if they killed a free man like a farmer this was without any problems. many of the rules and imaginations of the bdsm comes out of the histrory, and are still importand for peoples in this lifestyle.

since the 60th some peoples think that long hair man was hippies, but in the old time the celtics, the goths and very special the vandals have the man long hairs, the vandals fighting with hair comb on long sticks, some domes like it again, special they in the old tradition of the fighters that have captured her slaves. but this was outside of the sessions and the peoples that plays a little for kinky sex. peoples that brings some from the old time in the new time and mix the old stuff to with the modern things.

Because they're not all that concerned if men like it long or short?
They're concerned with what they like..not someone else.
I've had my hair short because that's what I preferred at the time. Sometimes I was in a relationship other times I wasn't. It wasn't really a concern.
These days I keep my hair long simply because I have a tattoo that needs to be covered for work and it's the only way of covering it.
Otherwise I probably would have cut my hair again.

Yes. Most men prefer long hair. Most men also prefer thin and athletic. Most men prefer lots of things. Each woman, of course, has her own preferences. Most women try to balance out their attractiveness in the courtship ritual with other priorities in their life, just as most men do.

I might point out that most women prefer guys who earn 6 figures, have hair, and are at least athletic in build if not chiselled. Yet few men fit this description. Maybe of more immediate interest, however, is that most women prefer men who have a clue about women.

More than a couple years ago, there was a study done on the length of hair and the men who liked long or short hair. They found that the men who liked long hair were typically less educated than the men who like short hair. There was another study done not too long ago about straight hair or curly hair and how employer's looked at the people who were applying. Those with straight hair of medium length got more call backs, more communication in their interviews and were considered more intelligent.

I will wear my hair for myself and if I want to cover my face like a cousin it... I can... ride a horse naked yet covered, I can... but if a certain man liked me for my hair... I would cut it in a heartbeat and tie him up with it, leaving him bound and silent in the night. Then in two years have my long hair again. No biggie...

Well, I used to have hair down to my ass, then I cut it way short. Now I'm growing it again & it's almost down to the back of my bra. I can't wait til it's almost down to my ass again, but I'm doing it for me and no one else.

Gary likes and prefers short hair. However, after a couple years of trying I had not found anyone who could cut it so it looked nice. We have now compromised. The top and sides are short as he likes it and he does the trimming. The back is nice and long for me.

So here is a vote for a Dom who prefers short hair on his female submissive.

Ok, here's one from a femDom perspective: I absolutely *ADORE* long hair on males of all ages and orientations. Why do some male sub/slaves feel the need to shave their heads as a sign of whatever?
