And when this bear was owned, he determined that I should have short short hair and thus it was shaved off. It's only common sense that when a sub enters into a d/s relationship and if the hair length is negotiated as off limits, then the dom can and will decide if they want the sub's hair long or short.

I can see why this topic is placed in the Polls and Other Random Stupidity! If we really want to be objective, perhaps some doms who originally preferred to want their subs to have long hair might have changed their minds when they have had a REAL sub with them. Maybe this could be that sometimes short hairstyles might be better on some subs? I would think that most doms want their subs to look good and not be too focused on a fetish. I would want a dom to like me for who I am but I guess I am splitting hairs in this case!

just wandered in here trying to figure out what the OP is wanting.... i have long hair.. its almost down to my ass... and it will stay long. i will get a trim when needed but it stays long. i look horrid with short hair and NO ONE will persuade me to cut it short and yes this is a deal breaker.... talk about cutting my hair and i'm gone. .. pull on it all you want but do not cut it. the last time it was cut i wanted a trim ( about 4 yrs ago) ..and the stupid woman cut it up to my chin and i cried like a baby cuz all my long beautiful hair was gone... i don't care how much of a dom you are.. its my fuckin hair and its attached to my body.. thus i will do what i want with it
