No, that's a symptom of the syndrome and even more frustrating to the people involved. One of my co-workers Uncle had the same thing happen several years ago after a flu shot. He gets partial paralysis and other neurological symptoms. The syndrome is treatable but not curable and treatments reduce symptoms but do not eliminate them. Imagine not being able to feed yourself, pet a dog, use the toilet, or any of the many, many things we all take for granted without even thinking of, all because you tried to stay healthy by getting a vaccination. That being said, only 1 in 250,000 were affected in this manner and 1 in 50 die from the flu. Do the odds, figure your risks and I personally recommend getting vaccinated. I'll be first in line for the swine flu shot (well maybe not, I think pregnant women are actually first in line.) and to the above, I agree with so many others, this is tragic, not funny. It's freedom of speech that they can do this, it's also freedom of speech that I can call them a reprehensible scum bag ass-hole shit-fucker for even considering it, much less making the video. May they die a horrible, slow tragic death that makes this woman's affliction look like a mild case of discomfort.
