I hope everyone DOES realize that Jesus Christ, the Eternal Son of God, personally wrote the Constitution of the United States of America...

hey, if we wanna play silly buggers, at least the Mormons provided a PRIMO episode of South Park, and unlike the Tom Crowd, they didn't whinge like prissy boys.

Hell, I think Matt and Trey were responsible for for at least 100 conversions to Salt Lake Theism after that eppie.

and frankly, why not?

by the way, the USA makes SO much $$ off Matt and Trey and guys like them, which came from an UNREGULATED internet short saying 'FUCK YOU, HOLLYWOOD", that until the USD dollar is again the king of the hill? (animation pun intended since we can all guess Sanity loves that show)?

There is NO way the proposed "Brady Bunch style bleached version" is gonna happen.

Maybe later, but not for now.

Oh, nd while my "edit" button is still here (just to make to make a paractical show of a point),

wanna know the highest paid (as in net profit) writer/producer of American TV?

whic means someone who makes more by far than anyone here?  either Lib or Con?

The guy who does the voice of Stewie, American Dad, Roger, etc.

time to respect some drawin's and paper-squigglins', Sanity!

Taking that first step to regulate the internet, which up until now has had no regulation, is a bad thing.

When providers get away with throttling content, they only do so because they can and consumer alternatives are limited.

What should congress be doing instead? Breaking up the telecom providers into smaller companies and enforcing anti-trust rules against collusion, so there is real compeition in the high speed bandwidth area and when one provider tinkers with the controlling of access to sites, the consumer has alternatives in the name of other providers who do not.

why is it bad?

this is what the regulation will preclude

they have already done that and they have regionally rejoined over time, you may be too young to remember

This is no where near the first regulation of the internet. Guaranteeing net neutrality is a big deal but the far bigger regulation of the net, and one much more troubling to anyone who really cares about the subject, is the DMCA.

This regulation actually forbids the ISP's from controlling access to content.

so, anyome wanna talk about the TESTS sone in Canada and Oz that apparently PROVE that these filters slow dow even decent broadband coverage?

when in the times of GFC, people are wanting to buy MORE via the net than LESS, that consumer participation is INTEGRAL to the USA right now, and if it becomes ANNOYING S HELL for an Amazon page to load, things RE commerce are gonna slow down...?
