What costumes do you like to see on people at Halloween, and what do you yourself like to wear on Halloween to reflect your BDSM interests, kink, or fetish?

I actually don't feel any inclination to try to work a BDSM theme into my costume.

I see my master as a barbarian and me as his captive slave. (lol)

A favorite of mine for couples is "School Girl / Boy with Catholic Priest".. it just cracks me up.

Slight thread highjack but J I love your tag line.

My favourites are costumes that combine sexy and themes in the spirit (so-to-speak) of All Hallow's Eve, such as a sexy vampire, beautiful ghostly spirit, morbid but stylish Goth, etc.

Here's a costume to die for, and one who can wear: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BfkbABgyVzk.  The tall one with white hair, in head-to-toe form-fitting black leather drag, is Death - check her out!

"Gomez..."

"Carida!"

"Last night you were unhinged!

"You were like some desperate howling demon.  You frightened me!

"Do it again."

- The Addams Family, screenplay by Paul Rudnick, based on characters created by Charles Addams

i've always liked alice in wonderland. the traditional and dark look. wednesday addams or a dark angel with black wings works well. if i wanted something more feminine i'd opt for the black swan odile from the ballet swan lake.

I stopped paying any attention to Halloween many years ago when my kids got past age 11 - 12 and were made to stay home and out of trouble.

I hate purchased and rented costumes and love creative and unusual. Sexy is predictable and boring.

FR, after read thru

I've been sorta obsessed with mad scientists & evil geniuses for a while, not just kinkily but that as well . ... So, I'm finally, this Halloween, crafting the appropriate tunic . . . Which design will then take over much of my 'vanilla' wardrobe, but that's a whole other topic . . . . .

& then, cuz I don't have enough time on my hands or anything, I decided to make a bunny suit out of a large quantity of pale pink fake fur I thrift-store scored. (For the Buffy fans out there, the thinking is something along the lines of the one Anya(nka) wears to the Halloween frat party in 'Fear, Itself' (season 4, I think) . . . . . . )

I'm thinkin' this is a season of big transformation for me, I'm goin' thru changes (well, always goin' thru changes, but especially so this year), & costumes & our ritual celebration of transformation & alernate personas (Halloween) are a great start . . .....

Much as I find the Pirate Queen/cabin boy, Catwoman/robin and all the other staple BDSM sorta costumes sexy and fun, on Halloween I prefer to do something different and weirder-than-normal. Mistress and I had our first Halloween costume event together this year, and it was a lot of fun. We went to Rascal's in Vancouver for their Halloween shindig. I dressed as a Catholic priest, and She was a demonic Catholic school girl. It set us apart from the plethora of pirates at the club, and I thought Her costume was subversively ironic as well as devastatingly sexy. Got a lot of attention while playing on the St. Andrew's cross ^__^

Within the next year I'd like to save up enough money to buy myself some leather armor pieces, get my sewing skills bumped up, and make a Roman General or decadent Praetorian Woman's outfit for Mistress, and I could go as Her captured celtic slave. If I can't afford the leathers I could get something a little skimpier and be the more traditional "wise greek" slave, which I certainly have the hair and complexion for. [;)]

I'm going as a leopard.  I had the black cat tail and ears, but I decided to accent w/ leopard print blouse and scarves, etc.  I've been a medieval serving wench before, a witch, a nun, etc.  I'd be a pony, but I can't figure out how to wear the buttplug tail without being either crude or obvious in public and I couldn't eat the goodies with the bit in.  Where the party is, it has to remain rated GP.  haha

Why what else, a French Maid. Either me, or some Female. That is my favorite.

Then I also like to see Ballerinas or the Naughty School Girl look, with Blue (or Red) Pleated Skirt, White Blouse, White Nylon Knee Highs and Mary Janes.

Just recently, they added a new bar at work (in a Casino), called "Exhibitions", and the Cocktail (what a neat word) Waitresses, were the Naughty School Girl look as I mentioned above, with Red Pleated Skirt.

I always ask the Partender, if the "School Girls" are in.  LMCLAO

Agreeing with Porcelaine here: Wonderland themed.
I am in love with A.I.W. anyway, but geeyawd I love the costumes they come up with!
I also like the twist on Victorian-y sort of getup. Cute!

Going as a terrorist. Probably won't be hanging around the airport though.

Well, this year my husband and I put on scrubs and a lab coat and went as Dr. Paddlemore and Dr. Eva L. Researcher.

Given that I refer to my style of play as "mad scientist", this worked well.

JudasButcher -> RE: What Halloween costumes do you like? (10/27/2009 8:08:37 AM)

I hate the store bought costumes, most are boring and are NEVER made for someone 6'3. The womens costumes are always predictable...Nurse ho, Pirate ho, Vampire ho......boring boring boring.

Since my wife has been taking belly dancing, she's incorperated a belly dancer with a gypsy/tarot reader in her own design. Sexy, colorful, but still imaginitive and not one of the expected out-of-the-box store costumes.

Mine...well....the idea came from my own warped mind. I thought about a barbarian, but that's too easy. I was searching through online costume shops for ideas, saw a fake amish beard, and it hit me.......Yodarr the Barbarian. (anyone near an amish community knows that Yoder is a very common amish last name) I'm growing out an amish beard, got a black hat and attached viking horns, made a "battle pitchfork", fur covered suspenders, fur covered platform work boots, (that put me at 6'9"), and a shield with the "official" Yodarr coat of arms....red cross with a butter churn, milk jug, bonnet and buggy. Yep....Thundarr gets a bit of a twist from my really warped sense of humor this year.

LaTigresse -> RE: What Halloween costumes do you like? (10/27/2009 12:00:42 PM)

Just make sure you omit the mustache.........no self respecting married Yoder would wear a stache.

Start haunting your local thrift shops and within a year you'll have enough leather for the project.

Or buy the bottom for the outfit here and still make the rest yourself:
