I for one do not believe the 'apparent' global warming is a product of what we are doing, our very existence is damaging the planet in terms of carbon dioxide production. Maybe I am this way because of the belief that anything politicians grab onto is suspect, but the earth from tested and recorded scientific data, dendrachronology, ice cores etc is plain to see, when the history that is known, all the history data is made available to see for oneself.
Furthermore when politicians grab onto a theory, it gets blown out of all proportion and manipulated for the means of control, take carbon credits for example, is that not just another tax that people will pay, if they believe it is for a good cause, but carbon credits could be also seen as permits to pollute
No, I don't believe in global warming as a man made problem, but I do believe we have to curb our polluting of the planet, as what we will do, if we continue to pollute our living enviroment, is eventually destroy ourselves, cause and effect, tip pollution in the ground, it affects the plant growth, finds it's way to bedding planes and out into water courses. The same with the sea, tip crap in it, sealife gets it, we eat sea life, air, well, we breathe air, if it is full of pollution, we destroy ourselves, never mind what the other animals on this planet have to go through at our hands. Cause and Effect, we cause problems, they affect us.
At the end of day, for me, I believe theories, any theories have to be tested by reliable and trustworthy means before I will take them on board as temporary fact, temporary, because I am always open to change based upon further knowlege gained by trustworthy testing.
And by means of trustworthy testing, politicians have been seen to be liars and manipulators of truth.
