Well, for one thing...

those with Macs. linux, and other *ixes can participate in cybersex. They cannot with the 3DKink thing; it is only available for Windows Vista users.

Possibly, but I would guess that's only the first... attachment... that might be used. It's not far-fetched to think that control interfaces could be written into the game to manage a number of web-controlled sex toys that are already out on the market.

Its sort of a heavier version of IMVU (which is free btw)... with a focus on BDSM. If it is anything like IMVU, then I suspect that the experience will be quite immersive for some, and then there are others who will probably just not see the point. But, I suspect that if you try either, you just might like them.

And, btw...no you do not need those cheezy 3D glasses.

IMVU is Windows only as well. As is that VirtuaGirl striptease thing.

One could infer, then, that Windows users may be more into virtual worlds whereas Mac and linux users prefer the real thing.

(Or, Mac and linux users are just more deprived.)

Well, I'm not one to debate the virtues of Mac over PC (or vice versa ;) ....deg... but it would stand to reason, that by virtue of the fact that these worlds are not available to Mac users (as you have pointed out) then, the matter of preference cannot be determined if said Mac users simply cannot access the the experience. How could such a preference statement be made if Mac users do not have the opportunity to determine if the experience is preferred or not over something else if they cannot in fact experience it? Seems a bit presumptuous, if one were to make such an inference.

I do agree however that depravity may have much more to do with it.
