How does your approach or reaction to the posts impact your "other" email?

Dearest Misstress Hathor,

I felt compelled to select What? Not because I did not grasp the gist of your question, it is just that I am always intolerant; so there seemed to be no more explicable stance to take.

Sincerely,
Ron

I can't say any of the choices really applied to me ... lol ... although, perhaps I'm just studip ;)

Anyway, I must say that I don't often get PMs regarding posts, but I am pleased to say that when I do, they have all been really positive :)

I am always thrilled and moved when a person takes the time to write something positive and send it out.

I always realy, even if it is a simple 'thank you, you relaly made my day!" And I so ernestly mean it :)

Same here, I have never seen a negative reaction in my e-mail yet.

I've gotten plenty of negative reactions to my posts in e-mail. I've even had to block one or two people who wouldn't stop bothering me, and one person may have gotten thrown off the site for what she wrote to me in private mail.

My e-mails are always positive when they come from people on the board - Always! Once in a while I'll receive a query for clarification, but that's it.

Seeing that 90% on my mail is from friends, I don't have a problem.

RavenMuse -> RE: How Posts Impact Email (3/8/2006 3:34:23 AM)

Not quite sure of the question you are asking here petal?

Are you asking if my posts on the board generate interest from potential subs?
Or if I've been dealing with 'disagreements' on the board means I respond more or less harshly with emails I get that day?

If the former... I've only had friends mail me about things on the board, so the answer would be no

If the latter, not in the slightest. I can be in the middle of a 'disagreement' in one thread and having a laugh with someone else in another thread... let alone it effect my mail.

Good Morning MS. H
I don't think any e-mails affect my posting and I enjoy all that I recieve, both good and bad. I find the good always outweigh the negative anyway and I find it comforting to have people wanting to contact me.

G'Day Maam, Kevin
