The only thing out of that I could lose really would be my job, lol.. and in which case... I'd be me, without a job, still looking hard like I do. :\

Start volunteering somewhere. Preferably doing something related to what you would like to be doing. And then you can interview for a different career and point to your volunteer work as experience in the field.

Look for a job in the state you want to be in. Work in that state for six months, fulfill residency requirements, go to school.

Plan to get from where you are to where you want to be.

Does it really only take six months? I thought it was like, two years or something before you could get in-state tuition. That's cool. I'm trying to think of something that would be volunteer work in my career.... it's not exactly like saving kittens from trees... I dunno, and how do you even get specific types of volunteer jobs anyway? That's a good idea..

Residency requirements vary from state to state, possibly even county by county.

For volunteer jobs, try contacting the United Way and asking which nonprofits they support.

Well, I don't know whether to be "over your current life" or not...  give me a little bit of time to see how this things plays out.  I don't know you at all, ya see.  *nods*
