What a wonderful question...and even tho I hae answered it already I will recap as you clearly did not understand me the first go round. I am not here being a voice for your regulars who think you are holier than thou...Tis one is for those who have approached me personally for saying the things they re to timid to say themselves..So thank you for proving the very point I was making...while evading my question as to why you  opted to edit your post of WOW simply WOW....Clearly your jolly dom would not need me to speak up for him but you are welcoem that I can make him laugh...everyone is happpy win win..Why over 90 hits and 3 votes is a bit bothersome..
I do find it amusing that someone would be "scared" to post on a forum such as this. What is truly the worst thing to happen, are they really in any real danger of being hurt physically, mentally or emotionally? If they are hurt by what an anonymous person says online perhaps they should walk away form their computer.
So ...then why would there be online mentors and protectors as you so put it they should walk away from their computers if they are not like you or your posse...Why dont you take your own advise and go take a brisk walk yourself?

I don't walk because I dont want to I rather enjoy these forums if you dont like my posts or anyone elses for that matter feel free to make the block feature your friend. That would be some sound adivice for those you "speak for as well".

Oh I am sorry you have me confused with someone who will censor your input....that is a splendid idea lets everyone block one another and we can all stare at a blank screen...thank you oh great woman of wisdom for your TOOTalage...I feel so much more safer and educated now.

Your real is not my real....my real is not your real so what is real? Comes down to different beliefs systems and opinions...this gives you a right to willingly and knowingly "hurt" someones wittle feewings simply because you can? I personally have been tagged a "troll for "inflamitory remarks in my responses to some of you regulars..Thus the moderators come to your rescue....that is not a lick different than me taking up for the under dogs. Whipping out my rainbows and unicorns, balloons and fun for everyone....free popcorn for the kids wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

I think you misunderstand what the Mod Gods do. They don't "rescue" they step in when the TOS is being violated or a thread / post is out of hand. It is a judgement call on their part, they aren't directed by any one of us users regulars or not. Trust me even regulars get mod spanked from time to time.

I find it funny that you try and reprimand others for being rude and snarky but you have been that same way since your very 1st post. I personally tried to over look it and help you learn the basics of the site when you asked questions.

Well, NZ, how're ya gonna feel when I point out the last smiley is indeed one of your own (I included it specifically so you wouldn't feel left out, isn't that ironic?), & that you did not recognize your own product?

lol &

Ah, as to the OP's thesis that we're a big mean clique keeping all these deserving masses of lurkers from posting with our gang attacks . . . . . That's fascinating . . . . .

OP, on FetLife, you can start your own (discussion) group, invite all those lurkers, & as that group's moderator you can protect y'all's conversations to your little heart's content . . . . ..

&, am I understanding you correctly, OP, to be making accusations of censorship when you apparently want bunches of us regulars to shut up? How does that work, exactly?

Since I'm lacking the white-knight-eaten-by-dragon emoticon that would be so useful at times like these . . ..

I feel kind of inadequate, now, to have provided you a extended library of smileys, none of which were useful to you for this purpose.

Snarfing down  some Snarky O's D licious....the poll is very simple....perhaps by tomorrow when everyone wakes up  it will get more votes. Until then I am taking my opinionated  ass to bed..do keep your hands out of my Snarky O's..and yes for those who are wondering if they stay crunchy in milk....they do indeed. It is so nice to see one of you has the definitive facts on what a Mod does or does not do and when. It is almost like you are one of them (oh you can dream of the web power!!) but not...let the back biting begin as I exit stage left...

This is My feeling exactly!

I'm not going to apologize because I've spent My time doing My research, living My life, and made an honest effort to know My craft.  I'm also not going to bow My head and shutter away from the fact that I know some damn good people on these boards.  If anyone hasn't taken the opportunities to do the same, don't blame Me.  Put the blame where it belongs in lack of effort.

I'm going to say on this thread the same thing that I do to people who contact Me without reading My profile.  The information was already provided to you.  All you had to do was seek it out.  You have the very same, if not more access to education at your very feet.  The same books that I read when I started out are still in print.  Local groups, munches, and events have grown in ways that many of us have never expected.  All of these things are right there out there for you.  The only thing you have to do is go out there and get them.

As for this great silent majority of lurkers out there, I can promise you that it's the same for us experienced folks.  The ones who write Me on the other side wondering why in the world someone who claims to want this so bad can't be bothered to spend less than a double to read what's been available for over a decade written by Wiseman or Warren, or Devon and Miller.

If there's any person on this site, or anywhere else for that matter who doubts My credentials, I'll be more than happy to provide you with references.

my personal view of online mentors and protectors is that often times they seem to be favoured by un-knowledgeable alleged d-type people with a white knight fetish for rescuing damsels in distress or s types who shouldn't be here if they do not have the skills to read their own mail and make decisions about the safety or suitability of others.

I was waiting for you to ask about that.

No, I found the question confusingly worded, so I did not vote.

& that's one of the other main things I'm here for, to share my (frequently snide) opinion, thanks . . . ..
