Forgive me Sir!!!
I did not realise that it was forbidden for others to make comment...and you did post it in the "Ask a Master" section.
Personally, from this post and your other post, I think you have chosen your screen name well.

i have no idea where you got that idea

Arpig -> RE: The cillydom turns traitorous dog (3/9/2006 10:36:04 AM)

That doesn't really surprise me [:)]

The latter was what was giving me the idea this might be a big put on. I does get credit for carefully burying the punchline is a mass of text.

The suggestion was and it was only a suggestion is with a little less detail in her profile it would be harder for someone to mirror themselves back as her perfect partner.

With most of the muppets out there it would be difficult for them to mirror themselves as her perfect partner... so long as she was looking for someone with at least some basic social skills.

I think that those that have knowledge of what d/s is about will be able to fill in the gaps of what’s not said in her profile and thus be more authentic. Thus easing her lament.

Well those *I* know who have a firm grasp of what D/s is about tend to prefer knowing in a straight forward clear manner what is being looked for and what isn't rather than wasting their time with vagueness. Such more often gives the impression of a girl who lacks understanding of what she wants.

Your point seems to be that some profiles aren't done the way YOU would have them done?

I put a lot of thought into my profile.... even checking with a lovely helpful little sub sweetie to see if it was saying what I wanted it to say when viewed from the other side of the coin.[:D]

Dear Cillydom,
You are correct. More than often I have read a profile that seems to be written as an echo of mine. However, limiting the amount of detail isnt going to help. A profile that is vague only brings out more HNGs. If you present with few ideas of your own, they are more than willing to "help you along" with ideas.

Don't forget, we are on the internet. A healthy dose of cynicism goes a long way.

And just one other thing- could you come up with an alternative pet name for submissives?
"subbies" just doesnt cut the mustard and actually makes YOU sound like a HNG at times.
How about simply "subs"?

Respectfully,
CT

cillydom -> RE: The cillydom turns traitorous dog (3/12/2006 10:41:01 PM)

what I wrote was just a suggestion ment to spark discussion

this sentence was not read by most criticizing the piece “Well this is just something for the subbies to think about, which they seem able to do without painful side effects”.

I like the term subbie to me it’s a term of endearment and I like using it

I always try to take the meaning out of what was meant and not necessarily the way it was said

I enjoy women, I like the way they think, I like the way they look, I like the way they smell, I enjoy studying them and I especially love subbies, they are so adorable.

Now that's a HNG line if there ever was one!
MY BS meter is starting to hit the red zone with this cillydom!
Anyone else noticing this?

cillydom -> RE: The cillydom turns traitorous dog (3/12/2006 11:08:06 PM)

but they are,

take it as bs if you wish, that doesn't change my reality

IronBear -> RE: The cillydom turns traitorous dog (3/13/2006 1:28:09 AM)

far, far to often have I seen some one's reality become the SB of others. Pity really because as we view things through personal filters, we forget to turn off the BS predispositions which from our own experiences and perspectives make assumations that all who make specific types of comment, act in a specific manner ot believe in certain things that such people are filled to o'er flowing with the universal BS..... This ancient biped, this mathocala, is not particularly wise or smart but just takes each as I find them and make assessments based on such findings and if said findings are incorrecr will happily sit, listen, watch and assess anew and should it seem meet do do so, make a suitable appology for eronious opinions....
