The BRAD BLOG : 'Tea Party Express II: Rise of the Tea Bags'

So we went out to Griffith Park out here in L.A. on Sunday to check out the kick-off day for the new "Tea Party Express II" national tour. Thought we might meet some interesting people and file a quick video report. Met alot of interesting people, and so ended up making a short film of sorts. Enjoy. Spread the word. Go tell the story ("both sides")...

well- first off the bus is too fancy.  I am 4 mins into it and this seems like a waste of time.  ie- controlled opposition.

1. restore Glass Stegull
2.  audit and abolish the federal reserve.
3. return to a credit system- not a monitorist system.
4. restore sound money.
5. get rid of the UN, and all global "agreements".
6. restore tarriffs on imprts.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yj3emi1GlgQ  rand paul being followed.

anyhow the fancy bus is lipstick on a pig.

A real revolt wont look anything like that.  people who simply refuse to use banks-- would be more effective then any protest.   "unbanked"    look how banks were so afraid of credit unions.    If people just stopped using the grid in these types of ways- it would change.  and until then it wont.

I don't know what you mean by controlled opposition and the link you posted doesn't work. What's wrong with global agreements? Do you want to get rid of all of them, are all of them no good? Do you know that if you put taxes on Chinese imports the Chinese will retaliate by not supporting the American dollar and they will not finance the budget deficit so therefore the American dollar will plummet in value causing serious inflation problems.

What does restoring that legislation have to do with anything?

How does the UN tie in to that?

As for the credit unions and banks, can I take it from that that you're in favour of the various Islamic banks which don't charge or pay interest because the prophet spoke against usury?

30-40 banks in Chicago are walking zombies. IL is going to be hard hit.

Tho last night only 9 of the 4000 bad banks were closed. (we have about 8200 banks in the US)

Glass Stregall- regulated that banks could not loan out 40-50-60x the amounts they actually have.   Derivatives.   They can never be repaid- even if we sold everything in the country.   over 600 trillion of over the counter contracts.

In others words FRAUD.   But depends on who does it- as to if it is acceptable.

actually, I don't think usury is from the prophet, it is in Leviticus.

This is true, but Mohammed pasted up his book from the bits of the Talmud and the Old Testament that he was most taken with in the main.

I agree PaHunk.
Funny thing about all those "free trade" agreements, I can't for the life of me remember the American People protesting in the streets or them holding up big signs that read; "WE DEMAND FREE TRADE!", can anyone else???
Those "agreements" were done behind "closed doors" with congressmen, senators and big business who told us that they were,....."good for us."
Anytime someone tells you that something is "good for you".....
And, the way you can tell that govt isn't listening to The People is because we're *still* in the "U.N." despite the fact that so many Americans want out of it!
It's very simple, put a binding resolution on the ballot in all 50 states and let The People decide!
What could be more democratic and fair than that?
Why would those in govt want to remain in it if they *know* that The People are against it? That simply doesn't make sense. Something crooked is going on there!

We are in a republic, not a democracy.  We vote and hope the people we vote in do what the people want.  If not, we could conceivably force them out of office, but often, its the same ol' same ol'.  We need to force the gov't to balance the budget so annually we have a Budget surplus.

I also believe we should make it an amendment, if you want to be president, put your hand over your heart.  No more presidents who aren't patriots....

Well it is a free country......he has as much right to put his shoe in his mouth as you or I do......my only question would be   why does he feel the compulsion to do it so often and so deeply?

sorry, not really a republican.  We need more independents. I'm a conservative, not a republican.  We need more independents in office.  Democrat/republicans are basically saying different things, but they get into office and do the same ol' same ol.  We need actual change for the better.  Obama didn't change anything important, he talked a good game, but in essence, he didn't do anything the republican I voted for would of done.  Basically they are both the same.  We need an independent president, more independents in the congress/senate.

I think we passed the point of no return.

I am not sure when- but I am thinking we did.
