What are the best remote control and wireless egg/bullet style vibrators available?

Three things factor into my definition of "best" here:

1) Range. What is the maximum distance at which the remote controller will work properly while the vibrator is in someone?
2) Battery life. How long does a set of batteries last?
3) Build quality. Will it last more than a few uses?

I am not too concerned about price.

I knew a guy years ago who worked with model racing cars...he built his own battery packs etc...consider designing your own and be creative??  I would imagine it would last longer. Just a suggestion

In the US or north america, you are basically dealing with the 5 big toy companies, ..California exotics, Doc Johnson, Nasstoys, Topco and Pipedreams for remote control toys. There are smaller companies, but they are much much harder to find and usually a side niche of an electronics firm or enthusiast.
There about thirty more styles than there were even three years ago, also they are tending to be better built than they were as far as reliability, range etc.
The typical range is between 15-25 feet,
Battery power is limited, keep spares if you are going to be  playing for longer than an hour or two (take out batteries as soon as you stop playing with it).
Some of the wires that are dangling from the egg or bullet are receivers for the control panel, they can come loose so secure it if you plan on you partner moving around a lot.
I have a remote cock ring and remote butt plug that have been in occasional use for more than three or four years.
These days, wireless just means that the button for the vibrating part is included in the main toy.
A lot of it does vary on your activity, they way you handle it and store it, and most of the big 5 have warranties now, check the packaging and return it if it has just conked out.
Good luck and have fun.
Lucy
Im sure some people will have links to the smaller companies/enthusiasts
