I'm wearing shorts when I go out on my errands today. There are times I do like Southern California.

Drop dead! And I mean that sincerely. It's raining again. Like it's been raining since spring. We had one nice day of Indian Summer, high only of 65 and that's been the best day of the entire year. Every farmer has been pulling out their hair since yields are down enormously and produce rots before it ripens. We have potato fungus on all kinds of things, the stuff that caused the famine in Ireland. And we didn't even get decent color on the trees since the rain washes it out. However it should keep the teens better behaved on a Saturday Halloween and the police shouldn't have to work too hard to keep them under control. Out damned typo!

The teen was all upset that he didn't have a costume since he was sick all week. He searched around the place and is dressed like a pimp. Purple shirt, purple jeans, purple sneakers. A fedora belonging to his late grandfather that's two sizes too small. And a trench coat that must be 40 years old since I inherited it over 25 years ago from my late mother in law. Fur would work better but I declined to let him wear my old mink jacket. Assuming he could even fit his arms in it.

Nice day. Should get over fifty. The snow that got dumped here Wednesday and Thursday is melting fast.

It was like 65 deg. here today but over cast and sprinkling off and on but it was a rather nice day. Personally I would love weather like this year round.
