I want to thank Collarme for having a wonderful site with plenty of terrific people!!! [;)]
Two and a half years ago, I heard about D/s relationships in a chatroom. I wanted to learn more about these intriguing relationships and went to my friend (Google). Collarme was at the top of the list so, I signed up.
Shortly after my profile was approved, I received a deluge of mail. Of course, being a newbie and somewhat polite (ahem), I responded to all messages (with the exception of the really off the wall, stupid messages). It was confusing, overwhelming, scary....you name it. It was also very exciting. [:)]
Two days after joining CM, I met the Man (who is now my Sir). Our relationship was friends only, with D/s overtones as I didn't quite know what I wanted. Basically, I sought a "guide" and a safe haven as most of the people I met online and in person wanted to jump right into the fray. I needed someone who wouldn't pressure me into leaping off every cliff before I was ready.
As I wasn't in a committed relationship with my guide, I met other Doms. However, there was something about my "guide" that made me want to belong to Him. I fought these urges for quite a while. Well, the fighting is over.
He officially collared me on October 24, 2009. My heart was collared long before the actual (Ring of O in lieu of a collar) slid on my finger. I'm so very happy, ecstatic, thankful and grateful that He waited patiently for me. [sm=couple.gif]
