I tell anybody that I have met and that I think there is a possibility with to read Training With Miss Abernathy: A Workbook for Erotic Slaves and Their Owners and to report back to me on it.

I find that few actually do read it, but those that do appreciate it.

I'm not sure the point in reading Finnegan's Wake because that doesn't do anything for *ME*. But I am an avid reader and do expect slave, or potential slave to do attendant research to my reading.

For example. If I'm reading a book on economics I'll expect slave to find me articles etc. that argue what I'm reading and read them to me.

I don't think there's anything wrong with it, though it sounds like more of the "I'm feeling sarcastic and snarky" mode than seriously wanting to dominate them in this way. I did something similar myself, with the "humilating shopping orders" thread.

I've ordered my previous submissive (when we were together) to read a couple of things and do some specific research, and have been reading up on physics to better understand some of my Master's hobbies.

He didn't specifically make an assignment, but we got started talking about it, so I was interested.

Considering pedagogy is still legal in most of the *ahem* 48 states, it doesn't seem so outrageous to me.
