fr I just watched it and heard him mention some smith guy, but never heard him blame Obama. But then again, when does anyone ever quote the idiot correctly.

He most certainly mentioned Obama. Specifically he complained that Smith had been part of Obama's transition team and supposedly had applied pressure that the White House would intervene if the owners locked out the players. It was his usual 'I'm not at fault everyone else is' whine. Maybe he should consider that in an industry where individual workers are so powerful those players might not take kindly to a potential employer who had made a career out of bashing those very valuable workers.

I said this in another thread and I'll say it again. I think Rush KNEW from day 1 that his effort to be come a part owner of an NFL team would be shut down. Why did he do it anyways? Because it would give him something to whine about on his radio show.

To be honest Rush's whining over this is of little interest to me...certainly it pales in comparison to Rush questioning President Obama's motivation in going to Dover Air Force Base....now I hope I get this quote right(wink wink boi)"It was a photo op precisely because he's having big time trouble on this whole Afghanistan dithering situation" further adding "He can create the impression (italics mine)that he has all this great concern" An American President's motivation standing on the tarmac and saluting flag draped coffins should,if only in the interest of good taste,be beyond attack....of course expecting good taste from Rush is a silly notion.

Wow, really aren't there more important things in the world for people to worry about. And this made on some news channel. Mean while real issues like inflation, the Copenhagen treaty, health care, and "jobless recovery" go with out thought by the American people. I guess sports are a good distraction, and idiots talking about them are even better.
