Life in CA is pretty good. The house is officially put together as far as I'm concerned. For a while there, I thought the moving boxes were never going to end but I've more or less found a place for everything now. I still keep looking around at the layout and how much open square footage there is and thinking to Myself how easily it could be set up as dungeon space for private parties to accommodate 20-30 people. All it would take would be dungeon furniture that could be set up and taken down afterwards. LOL.
Now that I have all of this space, the only issue is that this isn't the BDSM mecca of the world. I did finally get to the closest local munch group this past month. Next, I think I'll head out towards the Bakersfield area and meet those folks.
The rest of the family is doing well. MP had rotator cuff surgery last month and is recovering nicely. Yes, I mothered him a bit too much, but I'm going with the excuse that he can be a bad patient at times.
As for clip, the news is good. They are in the middle of transferring him into what I believe is going to be a safer location for him. Literally a day after they had started moving him, the crew he would have been with got hit by an IED. (That's improvised explosive device for those who don't know.) The truck was destroyed, but all the men came back with minor injuries. I really don't care to comment any further on that.

i hope MP's mobility on that side is gradually improving :) From my experience, all sick people, or those in pain can be ratty patients *grin* - i'm a terrible wuss !
i am so relieved that clip had such a lucky escape!! Obviously, he was not meant to be with that crew at that moment, on that day, and the Higher Power made sure he wasn't :) i bet You are counting the days until he is back home, safe.
You guys are in my thoughts - that's meepy news about the house and remodeling - if Master Charles permits it, would You like a visit from He and i when i am back in the US December/January? Do You get snow in CA? In Allentown, PA, it's kind of 50/50 whether Christmas itself will be white, but i can hope :P Yay, sledding!!! Snowmen!! i feel like a big kid looking forward to Christmas :)
