Toppingfrmbottom -> Toppings energy gush thread don't negativly hijack please. (11/2/2009 8:28:36 PM)

This is my place to gush and spew my love and happiness and goodness and kindness all over the place with out starting 10 threads a day because I have no outlet and I am afraid if I post in pre exsiting places nobody w/ill come talk to me, or share my joy with me.

Please don't hijack it with off topic stupidity because you don't like me, and want to say shut up or you again or groaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan [8|]

I have made a space that's all mine so you all can be spared my gushing and gooing love and happiness and adhd energy all over the place so you'd hopefully stop saying oh god here she goes again!

So what are you gushing about?

Aylee -> RE: Toppings energy gush thread don't negativly hijack please. (11/2/2009 10:08:44 PM)

I think that the first gush is a gush about starting her own thread.

Toppingfrmbottom -> RE: Toppings energy gush thread don't negativly hijack please. (11/2/2009 10:17:18 PM)

WEll right now, I don't need to gush to bad, but I do over load ya all with my pride and my happiness so I'll keep this thread open and going so I don't ruin any one elses fun hogging the forrums.  And when I want to talk for the sake of hearing my voice, which happens sometmes I'll do it in the appropriate place!

there's a lady on freecycle, she's just as willing to be friendly and helpful as I am, well a long time ago I had some items to offer  up because I went into a mania and over bought, and she said she'd be willing to come to my house any time I want her to and come take things off my hands I don't want, an she has a 10 y.o and her and her 10 y.o  accepted my invite to come craft with me provided I can provide a asthama safe place to do it since my rooms a horrid pig stye and would set off her asthma

So this is good because I am getting rid of clutter and junk and getting to do so with friends, and  all I want is to be able to do the crafts then not have to store them, so I am getting the best of both worlds.

And I have a ton of school work ready and done to turn in and Inormally only have like one or two piddly pieces of work to turn in  but today I have like 10 and if I continue to mow through the stuff like I have been I'll be done this month, with this math book and I'll move on to the next level, cause right now I am doing the very begning like place values and 1=1 and subtraction an addition an bare bones times.

I can whip out a huge math problem on paper  now like nodboies business and I find it fun

I knew how before but I'd forgotten how to it'd been so long since I had to do it an I let a huge fear of math make math seem more traumatizing than it was

so I can do problems like 100099 plus 5000600 plus 10 44445 plus 50 if it's written out in like 5 minutes: and no panic, this is a HUGE acomplishment for me.

I actually dreaded and feared math for a long time and I still do but I am looking forward to having my teacher explain how to do the math for me AND ENJOYING IT! That's collosal, that's mondo big.

And I usually when I want to shop go and spend a ton of money and get out of control and today I would of gone window shopping an not spent a ton of money no money at all infact  I';ve spent most my spending money this month already treating daddy to dinner an I am sticking to no money spent on stupid stuff the rest of the month, because I am only allowed 50 dollars to waste an I owe my dad my real one not age play 100 dollars cause he helped me out of a jam, and I'm able to pay him back.

so I am really proud, because things are going well and I am so much healthier and happier, and the biggest thing is, I'm taking breaks from online when I am hurting myself because my knee;s ache or my butts dead from sitting so long or my feet swelled so huge your edma is sloshing about,

that's the biggest thing because I'm willing to sit here till I rot normally, but not so much any more, I am taking time outs for my health and for me time and I've made others in my family so happy for doing so because I've given my mom mommy and me time and rubbed her swollen knee , when before i was like no I can't I am online.

tfb... since you like crafts so much, is there a boys' or girls' club in your area that would let you come in once a month or every so often, with supplies to do crafts? Or maybe at a senior citizen's center?

In my area we have an art studio/gallery type place called The Banana Factory, where everyday people can sign up for an arts/craft project, sometimes with very little or no cost. Usually at this time of year, there's a blown glass christmas ornament project. geez, is it really getting this close to the holidays? eek! Maybe there's a place like this in Sacramento?

And congrats on creating THIS thread! (THANK YOU!!!)

Michaels has been mentioned in the past. The Michaels in this area offers classes for just the cost of the supplies. Whatever the class, there are regulars that attend, and friendships can be formed.

Get thee to a Michaels.[image]http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/7/7_20_5.gif[/image]

JoAnn's too also try any hobbylobbys if you have them.  Pretty much any type of fabric type craft store will probably have classes.  Also check craigslist under activities in your area.

Cool!  Art suppliers that do courses too?  I can dig that.
I don't know of anywhere like that in the UK... not to the same extent.

Tfb,
You could also volunteer say at a local library or school and that wouldn't cost you a dime. The schools especially grammar school are always looking for people to cut things, to prepare projects for classrooms ect and in the districts I have lived in you dont have to have children to do so only be able to pass a back ground check (get finger printed).

Jenny for a long time had done crafts for the shut ins and ill.   Simply little things- but it brought joy to them.  She would buy the crafts on close out.

She also made a afgan which was auctioned off at the Red Cross.

try www.Herrschners.com for crafting. I get my speciality yarns and kits there for my crocheting.

pure, you're welcome I should of done it a long time ago hehehe.

There are boys and girls clubs but I don't know if theyd let me come in and do crafts, the children's recieving home,  when I was trying to volunteer there but couldn't cause one of their rules is a GED or a diploma, an I don't know why I could of organized crafts, and I thought about doing it at the nursing homes, not every one there is to old to do crafts well.

And I thought up a bunch of  ideas like doing a bunch of craft stuff like book marks an stuff to donate to the recieving home and the nursing homes. Last year I bought a shit load of stuff for charity give away dug myself a 2 k hole doing it but was so happy to give stuff to families who wouldn't have a Christmas other wise, and I got a lot of good stuff left over from  that buying spree.  I did a lot of make up specials and buy one get one free and stuff.

There's some really nice bath stuff just floating lost in my storage stuff.

They also had cake decorating and all kinds of things, and sometimes for the holidays families can come in and make an ornament or a little dohicki * technical term for craft item of un known kind yet( and take it home!
