Perhaps I am asking for a fly that is buzzing the ointment...I realy dont know...but I just lost a slave/sub and was very hurt by it....I missed something..any ideas?

Give yourself time to heal and grieve. Contrary to how you feel now, time really does heal.

In the meantime keep busy. Learn a new craft or skill. Go out with your friends. Be around happy people.

This post has me a bit confused. The OP is a male switch and he's asking a question (?) about losing a "slave/sub" although he's interested in dominant/switch women...according to his profile.

OP, you ask for ideas but give no reason as to why or how you "lost" this person. You need to clarify. Also, is there a reason you chose to post this in the "Ask a Mistress" forum instead of "Ask a Master"?
Again, some clarification would be helpful if you expect any real advice.

Regardless of where you post the loss of a loved one knows no bounds in its agony. Heaping blame on yourself will not lessen the bitter cold anguishing empty loneliness surrounding you but it time it will fade and memories will dim.
