Hi-  I'm new on here and I'm not sure what to say in my profile to keep the creepos away.  I mean, I know I probably can't keep them away completely but I'd like to try!  Any advice on key terms or words I can use?

I hate to say this because your picture/avatar is nice but having up a photo of your cleavage won't help keep the insincere creepy guys from being interested in you and letting you know it.

I agree with lizi. That's one reason I chose a photo of my mouth rather than another body part that might get more attention.

You should resign yourself to getting a huge chunk of people trying to reel you in, for at least 2 months. There is a feature on CM that allows people to know who is new to the site, and for many guys a fresh target means that they are more likely to believe BS.

Also, if you do choose to respond to any email, try not to get irritated when, if you have turned them down, they begin calling you fake, or fat, or what ever petty insult they can throw at you to make themselves feel better.

It's not what you say in your profile. The stupid people won't read your profile, you will get scammers and dumb-f^%$s that just spam out any ol' thing.

Be honest and clear in your profile about what you want, what you have to offer someone else, and who you are looking for. And when the creeps mail you, block and delete.

Not to mention, that discreet, once in a while spells married and cheating to most folks, and therefore would not get responses from the more honorable types.

Keep things basic rather than detailed since "creepos" look for things that stand out to them. Then you can weed and filter the replies by looking over their details.

No, but if you find them, let everyone else know as well.  i don't think anyone is on here looking for creepos.

The reality is that you're going to meet some nice people here.  You're also going to meet some rude people.  You're going to be approached by scam artists.  You're going to be approached by people who haven't bothered to read your profile.  You're going to be approached by people who don't seem to be able to use good grammar or proper spelling.  It just comes with the territory.
