i have only been punished twice in the time we have been together.
The first time, i honestly cannot remember what i did. i was probably being a brat (Sometimes the filter between brain and mouth doesn't work LOL) and didn't do a task He wanted me to do. Something like that. Anyway, it was a spanking, but not a barehanded one because He knows i like those. He chose which instuments of torture (as i call them) to use but i had to tell Him how many whacks i honestly thought i deserved. i said 10 and He changed it to 10 for EACH thing i had done. 30 whacks with a combination of a paddle, crop and cane. Whatever it was i did, i haven't done it again.
On the other hand, the last time i was punished it was for not doing a task He had asked me to do, which i DID agree on. My punishment? Still on going. i did get a spanking, then torture with the Hitachi so far.
Anyway, for me, punishment and the knowledge that i disappointed Him seems to work. He does tell me the reasons for punishment, He doesn't just do it for fun.
We do talk as well, but sometimes He needs to get His point across in other ways, and i am not complaining :)
