ORIGINAL: vincentML This video says a lot. I agree... I gave well over $400 to the Obama campaign and dedicated over 40 hours of my life. This was a big deal for me. Before I have not been active at all - never 1 political donation... (Fuck the government) was my belief. But, ending this war and health care were too important issues to not fight for. I think Obama seems to be another shit politician. However, I am still confident he was a much better choice. The only good news is the longer we stay the more US soldiers will die. More husbands, fathers, wives and sons. Hopefully when your _____ or a friends . .. dies we will realize enough is enough. The anger, hate, rage & curiosity which arises from having a loved one killed in this war can and is being used to our advantage. I knocked doors, wrote, made calls and donated money - it did not work. I am not really sure what type of outlook to have other than this morbid reality. A father or wife sent home in a ziplock bag because the rest of the parts could not be found is motivation at it's finest - it can quickly make people passionate about ending an unjust war.. Sure some sick delusional people think their death was meaningful, glorious, gods will or something to be proud of. But, I do not think the majority do. Esinn I hate to be the one to tell you this....but candidate Obama clearly stated that Afghanistan was the war he would choose to fight....the job he would choose to finish...unlike Iraq which he has promised to get us out of. Nope,he never promised to get out....he promised to finish the job and get BinLaden.
