The only actual movie documentary that I know of is Master Taino's family, but his is all male homosexual.

This contains some good info about M/s relationships but is not totally focused on such.

Alternative Loving
With Dr. Gloria Brame, William Brame, Viola Johnson and other authoritative voices of the BDSM lifestyle featuring SM, Dominants, Submissives, D/s Relationships, Play activities, Bondage and Polyamory. I got to see one of the original screenings of this...incredible.

You can watch this movie. It'll let you see how a little manipulation and some sadistic thinking can go along way.

You've hit upon a real problem; there are no dispassionate, documentaries style films/videos on the BDSM and/or D/s lifestyle. At least none I have ever come across. Lots of books. But as far as documentary style visual forms, there is a real shortage. I've wanted to do a video of that nature. Love to see someone else's film/video, what they choose to capture, in what type of way. But most people are (rightfully) reticent about apprearing in such a film/video. And the cooperation of real Dom/mes/subs/Masters/slaves is an absolutely imperative. So we're left with such artistic film/video interpretartions of the lifestyle, like Secretary, or The Story of O, or The Image. While they all are good, they're anthing like a serious look at the lifestyle.

Part of this was shot in my local community and I was able to attend a screening here. I know some of the people involved, so it was very awesome to see! I don't neccesarily agree with very point of view that was shared in the film but that, in my mind, was not a negative. It's important that differing ideas were shared, and no one right way, was espoused.

The only other documentary series I know of is one that was/is done in Canada, called KINK. I don't suppose it's as much a documentary as it is reality TV, but it definitely attempts to give a voice to many, many different people, and many different ways of approaching sexuality and relationships.
