I admit I have a fasting blood test in the morning, so after I've had a last cup of coffee I can't eat or drink anything else before half eight.
Perfectly happy, thank you. Why would this annoy me?

Shifty, I'm posting this link for you to watch as I think what this lady has to say may have some things you can identify with. Forget that she is talking about the keto path because I don't think that matters to the rest of it as such. I admit my trip to Germany was rather productive even though it was last minute for work.
I admit I go to spend some quality time my Mistress Lady Nicole and her friend Lady Nadja while there
I admit we are trying to talk them both into visiting me here in the states
I admit I was lazy this weekend and did nothing as the jet lag kicked my butt for some reason.
I admit I am still loosing weight, I am now down 100lbs.
I admit I feel much lighter on my feet than I have in 20 years :)

Just got the results in the mail. Glucose is a little high (122 on a scale of 65 - 117) but my valproic Acid level is low (32.3 on a scale of 50 to 100). MHMR is currently trying to see what to do because Deopakote ER is my mood stabilizer and I hate to switch meds because of a low level or get put on a new one.

I admit I have found a way to make early fasting blood draws easier. I pack a travel mug of tea and an egg sandwich. The second I'm done, breakfast is served in the car.

I admit that the world is good today. Both kitties are doing well. You wouldn't even know that we thought the one would die a week ago. She's completely okay now. The baby chicks arrived this morning at the post office and all made it through the 2 day mailing ordeal. For my free mystery chick I got exactly the breed AND color I wished for, a Blue Cochin. Amazing. I was on the chicken farm's web sit last week in their forum. Someone sent in a picture off their mystery chick and wanted to know what it was. The farm told her it was a Blue Cochin. I made a comment that the chick was lovely and I hoped I'd get one too...and here it is. I do wonder if the farm gave me my wish because I do participate in their forum which has almost no participation.

I have 2 silver laced wyandottes. They are lovely. New chicks are Salmon Faverolles, Easter Eggers, and Whiting True Blue. Am hoping to raise Faverolles. Love their fluffy look. A Cochin/Faverolles cross might be lovely.

We have that happen all the time. He's dehydrated and when that happens he sleeps and won't drink. Then I get him to ER and they can't get the IV started. Last year even the PIC nurses couldn't get anything started so they went for the vein in his neck. Yuck. He was not happy but what can you do?
