 Good Morning Interesting888,
what worried me is that You *try to show* your devotion to Your Master ,
could it be that the intensity of bondage to Him is not strong enough ?
The reason You disobeyed Him is important,
There is no place to learn, this come with your insight capacity and your real desire to follow a man
just try to look deeper into yoursel , just be honest with you and with Him

I just recently disobeyed my Master and was quickly brought into reality about how bad of a choice that really was.

Maybe you are like me and learn by trial and error. That's how I learn almost anything, from driving to cooking to submitting. It's not always pretty, but it's worked for me. Maybe you just need to understand that this is how you learn, allow yourself to make mistakes and be corrected, trusting that you will learn in time.

it is like taking a foreign language test without anyone teaching you the actual language.

The best way to learn a new language is by immersion--just being thrown into a situation where you MUST use the new language. No mentors, no guidebooks--just being surrounded by the new language until you begin to absorb it.

I'm now trying to show my devotion, but it is like taking a foreign language test without anyone teaching you the actual language.

So does anyone have suggestions on a good place to learn how to be the best sub i can be? I realize it is a process, but i NEED to do something to educate myself so that i can truly show my Master that i am worth his time and effort!

i would tell him my crystal ball is on the fritz and it is time for the communication to begin.

I want a Dom that will teach me, a Dom i want to make proud and one that i want to take me further into the lifestyle. My problem is that I need a slave mentor if you will. I have been fortunate enough to find a Master i think can take me on this journey.

That mentor should be him. If you've been honest about your degree of experience and yet you're honestly being made to feel as if it's "not always appropriate to ask him" then he's possibly not the man for you.

This advice is worth what you paid for it.

I am new to the lifestyle and although i've had some decent 'play' experience, i've realized that i want more. I want a Dom that will teach me, a Dom i want to make proud and one that i want to take me further into the lifestyle. My problem is that I need a slave mentor if you will. I have been fortunate enough to find a Master i think can take me on this journey. But I have so much to learn and i don't feel like it is always appropriate to ask him. For example, I just recently disobeyed my Master and was quickly brought into reality about how bad of a choice that really was.

Thank you in advance!

You need to be asking your Master what he wants. You simply give him your best effort as that is all anyone can truly expect
