Just a rant about the lack of manners from some alleged Doms in the Chat.Rules exist to prevent unsolicited PMs but some think the rules don't apply to them.Reporting them does not seem to work as by the time you make the report they have moved on.
Rant over sorry folks

You don't think that advertizing your bra size might be giving them the wrong impression?

This is just my opinion, so feel free to pick and choose any part of what I say and suggest or none of it at all.

I have found that regardless of position or gender – rudeness knows no bounds! It happens in daily life everyday of the year and it does not matter if it happens in a vanilla life or one generously spiced with BDSM. Often it does not matter what is listed in a profile – others will always be out there striking out in uncouth, unintelligent rudeness. In some cases it is due to the person’s upbringing, or experiences in life - in other cases it is just plain rudeness and a genuine lack of caring about how their words and actions are perceived.

In the end there two ways to address the person and the problem – ignore them, which some people can easily do or educate them in a constructive way. :: shrugs :: I wish you luck with whatever way you choose to handle people like that.

That whole PM's thing is a nonsense. It can't be enforced because room ops/owners can't tell who is talking to who in private as private conversations are external to the room, probably the only people that can tell are the IRC-ops but they are too busy basking in the glory of being treated like god by sycophantic users to care about such petty issues. There are just as many falsely claiming people they don't like are PMing them (i.e. to get people they don't like removed from a room) as there are genuine cases of unsolicited PM's. It's all a bunch of drama nonsense and is one of the reasons I left chatrooms long ago.

In most of the chat rooms... if someone pm's you without asking and the room has a rule not to do so... simply in the room ask the person not to pm you. That should get a room monitor's attention. Many will ask that you let them know and don't mind if you send a help message to them or say it in the room.

You don't have to respond the the pm and can ignore or block the person. It is just one of those things you have to expect in a chat room or anywhere online.

Personally I find asking in a room full of people if you can PM me to be rude.

I don't need or want for an entire room full of people to know who I am speaking to in private.

You wanna talk to me? Just PM. If I don't wanna talk to you I'll just hit the little x and ignore you.

Shetland.

Although I don't recomment ponies, they're too smart to take directions from a kid that doesn't know what they're doing. And they're too small for most trainers to climb on their backs and teach them manners.
I recommend quarterhorses.

Okay, I have a question.  Why is it that someone exhibiting behavior that you don't like is an "alleged" dom (or an "alleged" anything).  Why not an alleged man, or an alleged human being?

LMAO... actually it didn't occur to me that people might be alleged males, or alleged anything until you said that. I have know a few people for whom that would fit.

OP, as much as I hate to say it, theres really not much anybody can do about unsolicited PMs except to ignore the person or tell them you don't want to talk to them. Its a sad fact of the internet unfortunately.
